A group of
paranormal researchers head out
to find the infamous cave where an invisible
monster is supposedly guarding its gold.
Well, the researchers find the gold, but
they also find the monster. Will anyone
survive this nightmare?

A couple of years ago I saw this abysmal
horror flick called "Unseen Evil". Now, Lions
Gate has released this horror flick, Alien 3000
and guess what, it's really the official
sequel to Unseen Evil. The sole survivor from
the first movie (although this is obviously a
completely different chick than the one who
really survived in the first movie) heads back
to the cave to once again encounter the evil
invisible monster. Now, the funny thing is
that the girl keeps having flashbacks from the
first flick, so for anyone who didn't see the
first one has just been tricked into watching
a movie which they probably thought was a brand
new movie and not a movie originally called
"Unseen Evil 2", now that's bad publicity.
Luckily, this is far from as bad as the first
movie was. This one looks like it had a far
higher budget and the actors are much more
experienced. We get to see famous B-movie
actors like Lorenzo Lamas and Priscilla Barnes
this time and even if they're not great actors,
they still beat the hell out of the cast in
the first movie. The monster however doesn't
look anything like he did in the first flick
and it's surprisingly enough much more CGI
looking than the first one was.
With all this being said I still have to point
out that this is NOT a good flick by any means,
it's just relatively entertaining. It's full
of plot holes and goofs and it just screams out
low budget DTV trash. I've seen many bad DTV
creature features but this series will always
be one of the worst. I just hope that we've
seen enough of this series now and that we
don't have to see an "Unseen Evil 3", or even
worse "Alien 4000".

It is pretty gory actually. We get two pretty
cool scenes where guys are split in half,
some brutal decapitations and a guy gets his
head mashed in.

Very typical for these kind of movies. The
silly military music just won't stop.

While not as bad as "Unseen Evil", this is
still pretty bad. For all of you who liked
the first movie, you will most definitely
like this one and for all of you that didn't,
don't bother checking this one out.
