A couple of cheerleaders crash their car in the
middle of nowhere. They find a house where they
decide to stay for a while. Unfortunately for them,
it's owned by a deranged serial killer called
Andre The Butcher. They soon find themselves in
a difficult situation, will they be able to get
out of it alive?

Heading into this movie I had read a few very
positive and lots of very negative reviews but
since I usually like Velocity's releases, I had
quite high expectations for it anyway. Sadly,
it turned out that the negative reviews where
right. Andre The Butcher is a nonsense slasher
flick with close to no story and dreadful acting.
I mean, who wants to see Ron Jeremy walk around
slaughtering lesbian cheerleaders anyway?

The story basically revolves around a group of
cheerleaders who are either busy exploring their
sexualities or getting killed off by a fat serial
killer. Yeah, that pretty much covers the plot.
It's like a porno without the actual porn and
with some gore in it so in a way, I guess that
Ron Jeremy was a good pick for the villain.

What surprised me the most was how low budget
this movie looked. The entire thing oozed of
amateurism. The acting was abysmal and the
effects looked incredibly cheap. I'm surprised
that a company like Velocity Home Entertainment
would want to release a movie like this as it
doesn't even feel like a movie worthy of
distribution to me.

I'm sure there was a lot of effort put into
making this atrocious movie and I'm also sure
that some people out there will enjoy it. But
I just couldn't. It was simply too ridiculous for
my taste. The humour was low and the story just
wasn't very entertaining. Skip this slasher no
matter how appealing the cover might be.

While we get quite a lot of gore, most of it looks
very cheap. We get a knife in ones eye, a man with
half a body, a meat cleaver in ones hand, an arm
cut off, a head chopped off and more.

Heavy metal isn't really my taste and as if that
wasn't enough, this was also very poorly done.
It just felt very amateurish.

I'm surprised that this movie actually found
distribution as the humour was immature, the
gore was pathetic and the sex-scenes were just
too outrageous. Unless you want to see a couple
of cheerleaders get killed off, don't waste your
time on this appalling slasher flick.
