Vicki has just been released from an asylum and at
first everything seems fine but soon she starts to
wonder if she's really as well as she thinks she
is. When people start turning up dead, people start
to question whether Vicki is healthy or not.

Many people believe that this was the first straight
to video slasher made, well they're wrong about that
since the Swedish slasher Blödaren was the first
slasher to go direct to video. Anyway, A Night To
Dismember didn't deserve a theatrical release as
this is one of the worst slashers in history. There
is very little story in the movie. In fact, I never
really did manage to find the red line in it, it
just seemed as if random people were killed for no
apparent reason.
What makes this movie so hilariously bad however
is not the fact that the story is stupid. What
makes this movie so bad is that there is hardly
any real dialogue in the movie at all, I guess
the actors were too bad to be able to memorize
their dialogues. Instead we get a story teller
who's telling us what's going on and man is it
terrible. Here's an example of just how bad it
is; "Susan butchered her sister Bonnie. Susan had
accidentally fallen on an axe, she was dead". How
the hell do you accidentally fall on an axe?
The movie does look pretty good though as far as
when it comes to the technical part. The directing is
all right even though it was one of the first DTV
slashers ever made. I've never seen anything
like this movie ever before so I guess in one
way, this is a very original horror flick, but
originality doesn't mean that it's a good flick.
Even though it's only 68 minutes long it feels
like it's never going to end. This was just awful
and I can't believe that this actually got a
proper DVD release. Do not buy this.

Even if it was gorier than I thought that it would
be, everything looks so fake that it fails to
impress. We get an axe in the stomach, chopped off
fingers, a dismembered head and a whole lot of
blood splatter.

Awful cheesy synth music which isn't scary in any
possible way. They couldn't have made a worse
soundtrack even if they tried.

Samantha Fox must feel so ashamed for starring in
this terrible 80s low budget slasher. This is
one of the worst movies ever. There is hardly
any dialogue in the movie since the entire story
is told by a narrator. Avoid this utter piece
of garbage, it's simply awful.
