A school suffers from a zombie outbreak and it's up to
a few survivors to save the day.

I JUST reviewed this movie and accidentally ended up
deleting my review. Don't you just hate it when that
happens? Especially when it's for a movie that you
could care less about? Since I'm not in a mood to
write yet another long boring review for an equally
underwhelming movie, I'm going to try to keep it short
and simple. Dimension Extreme has quickly become my
favourite DTV horror distributor. Seriously, almost
all of their films have been outstanding in my opinion.
Now, I'm kind of sick of DTV zombie flicks as most of
them, well, let's be honest, suck balls but after
heaving heard a lot of positive things about Automaton
Transfusion I was actually getting kind of excited,
especially since Dimension Extreme was putting it out.
Unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations.

My plot description for this movie may seem awfully
short and you probably think that it's because I all
ready reviewed this movie and couldn't be bothered
writing yet another long plot description. WRONG! My
original review stated the exact same thing I think.
Why? Because there's not much more to it than that.
A bunch of students drive around from place to place
looking for survivors while trying to avoid getting
eaten by their friends who have turned into zombies
for unknown reasons. Seriously, we have no idea where
this outbreak is coming from. It's such a pointless
generic and predictable zombie flick that I can't
believe that it's actually received a lot of positive
reviews from some very well respected horror sites.

You'd think that, coming from Dimension Extreme, this
would have a fairly decent budget. Well it doesn't.
Automaton Transfusion is just as low budget as the
crap that Lions Gate releases these days. The script
is thinner than water (did they just make this up as
they went along?), you can actually predict what the
characters are going to say next and the worst thing
of all is that the actors delivering these generic
and often moronic lines are beyond awful. These people
need to go back to acting school. However, there are
a few redeeming factors to be found in here. First of
all, it's got a decent pace and since it's only 70
minutes long (hehe, yep, 70 minutes), it's pretty easy
to sit through without falling asleep. It's also got
a decent amount of gore in it to keep you somewhat
entertained. That's it though. It's another forgettable
low-budget zombie flick which offers nothing new to
the plate. I'm really disappointed as I thought that
this would be rather entertaining - well, I was wrong.

If you're a hardcore zombie fan, you may want to check
it out due to the gore but if you're expecting this
to be something new and refreshing, you'll be just as
disappointed as I was. It's a teen zombie flick without
any imagination in it at all. I truly believe that
anyone could have made this film.

We get everything from decapitations to severed limbs.
Gore fans won't be disappointed.

Decent rock music, a little predictable but so was the
movie so what can you expect.

I didn't like it. Automaton Transfusion just didn't
do it for me. It's another low-budget generic zombie
flick without any originality or creativity in it.
I'm actually surprised that Dimension picked this up
as I thought they would have had better judgement but
I guess not. Only for hardcore zombie fans.
