A journalist goes to a cemetery in hope of getting an interview
with the cemetery keeper. Luckily for her he's got some time off
and decides to go along with it. He starts telling a morbid
story about drug dealers and conspiracies and the journalist
is almost immediately hooked. As the story gets more and more
complicated we are taken through a brutal bloodbath.

A friend told me about this new Ittenbach movie and at first
I was as sceptical as usually when it comes to Ittenbach
films but as I started reading more and more positive reviews
for it I decided that I had to check it out anyway. Well my
prejudgements were correct and I ended up having a miserable
time. This movie must have had one of the most uninteresting
scripts ever for the Guinea Pig films have more stories than
this did. This was basically just a gathering of bad foreign
actors killing eachother off in various ways and to me that
just doesn't classify as a good way of spending time.
One thing that Ittenbach usually succeeds with is creating
the most beautiful sceneries ever seen in a lowbudget horror
movie, and this is the case for this aswell. Even if I
couldn't find myself to enjoy the horrormovie that this was,
at least it has some potential as a nature film for the
landscapes are simply terrific. Ittenbach really does a good
job with the directing but the acting brings down the films
quality a notch. The first story has some of the worst acting
performances ever seen on screen and what the hell was the
wardrobe department thinking giving those terrible outfits
to the women. Oh and the fact that the dialogues were terrible
didn't exactly improve the actors skills.
In my opinion this was only made for the true Ittenbach fans
out there as it has everything you can ask for as a gore hound.
But as a reviewer I have a hard time picturing that anyone with
a slight bit of class would get a lot out of watching this
movie. Personally I found this to be quite the snooze pill and
considering the fact that there's almost always something
going on in here, I think that tells you something about the
story and build up of the movie. I really didn't like this
movie at all and I have to end it with one star for the gore
and beautiful scenery.

Ok I confess, I couldn't keep track of it all. The gore effects
looked very realistic though. Let's see, we get a lot of be-
headings, some gory body part mutilations, a cool slit throat
scene, some exploding body parts and intestines, various weapons
impaled in the head and a lot more of this gooish mess. Yuck.

This was cheesy. Nothing out of the ordinary really. Some slow
music and some techno influenced music, worked pretty well
though but some scenes felt a bit too much like Matrix.

Standard Ittenbach material here. It's nice to look at but
the lighting's all wrong, it's got a good amount of gore
but the story seems to be missing. I think that even the
ones who liked this flick can agree with me when I say that
this movie would be nothing without the gore. If you're
easily impressed by good gore effects, grab a copy of this
now, but if you want a good story you should looks elsewhere.
