Three guys get in trouble at a small bar in Wyoming
so they head back home to Minnesota. Unfortunately
for them, they are now being stalked by a mystical
black Cadillac but it seems as if the Cadillac is
pretty harmless... until they pick up a cop whose
car has broken down. It seems as if the Cadillac’s
goal has become to kill the three boys and the cop.

Black Cadillac is quite similar to the hit movie
"Dead End". But while Dead End manages to create
suspense and atmosphere throughout the movie, Black
Cadillac is quite slow and at times even dull. The
story is vague and very predictable which makes
this even less interesting and at the end of the
movie you're like "was that it?". See the entire
movie seems to focus on building up a great climax
but there is no such thing. Well, sure there is a
climax, but it isn't of any greatness at all.

This heavily flawed movie has some pretty good names
attached to it though. Not very well-known names
but the actors that star in it sure know what they're
doing. Unfortunately the two brothers in the movie
really don't act like they're brothers. I mean, who
would punch his own brother until he starts bleeding,
that's just ridiculous. The directing is fairly good,
I mean, 90% of the movie takes place inside a car
so there are no interesting or fascinating angles
to talk about.

Personally, I thought this was kind of a let down.
I mean, BLACK CADILLAC, how spooky doesn't that
sound? But when the movie has finished, you're still
not even close to spooked. It's an average TV-flick
but that's all it is. It's not bad, it makes an
hour and a half pass by pretty quickly, but the
story just isn't waterproof and there are too many
distracting factors in the movie for one to be able
to fully enjoy it.

Some fleshy deers and a deep leg wound. Not very
gory. Though I was surprised to see that one can
actually both walk and run after his feet were
just smashed against a tree with help from a car.

Some hillbilly rock music. Should have been more
atmospheric in my opinion, rock music did not help
this movie out. This was supposed to be spooky.

Very average horror thriller that really doesn't
creep one out. Great for people who are scared
easily. But if you're a die-hard horror movie fan
like me, you will not get much pleasure out of
viewing this I'm afraid.
