A woman buys a weird doll from a store. The store
owner tells the woman that every time she's sold
the doll, it has always returned on its own.
Intrigued by the story, the woman brings the doll
home and finds herself oddly attracted to it.
Soon she realizes that the doll is attracted to
her as well since it ties her to the bed and rapes
her violently.

Black Devil Doll From Hell is one of those flicks
that everyone seems to have forgotten all about.
This is blaxploitation at its worst but for some
reason I have still managed to watch it four times
now, there's just something about it that makes
you like it in some weird way. The movie is very
hard to find so if you want an original print of
the movie you will probably have to pay a great
deal of money, and even if it's bad, it might
actually be worth it because you will never see
anything like this ever again.

The story revolves around a religious woman who
is raped by her new doll (and that doll actually
looks very real, it moves as if it was a real
person, I mean, considering the budget that they
had it's pretty damn astonishing!) and when the
doll disappears she gets devastated since no
one is as good in bed as her favourite black
devil doll with rastafari hair. As you can hear,
the plot is very cheesy and over the top but
I guess that's what makes us keep watching it.

From what I've said so far, you might think that
this is a good movie, well it's really not. I have
an original copy of this movie and the quality was
still very poor, the photography is abysmal and
it's obvious that the director of this was a rookie
at the time. The acting is also very bad and the
dialogue is beyond abysmal. The story is very slow
and there is very little horror at all. This is
just a very strange movie that only real horror
collectors should watch, even if no one will be
able to like it.

A little nosebleed, that's all.

The cheesiest synth music EVER! It sounds like a
little boy is experimenting on his keyboard and
it sounds awful!

A weird and forgotten blaxploitation flick with
very little to offer. It's not really a killer doll
movie so don't expect that, in fact there's very
little horror in this at all. Still, this is one
movie I'm proud to have in my collection as it is
one original piece of work.
