Maddy has just moved to a new city and gotten her
dream job, now the only thing left is for her to get new
friends. She decides to take the invitation from her
boss and come to a meeting with his friends. They tell
her about their secret murder club where everyone
who wants to become a member has to kill someone.
But things get out of hand and the members of the
murder club start getting killed by a
mysterious masked killer.

I had been waiting for two months to see this movie
as I love teenage slashers, but I was very disappointed.
To begin with, almost all slasher flicks have a couple
of loud noise jumps at least, but this didn't have
any jumps or suspense at all. The next thing is that
on the cover, the mask that the killer wears looks
way cool, but in the movie, it's so damn ugly and
unoriginal you wouldn't believe it, and the fact is, we
don't even get to see the killer a lot. The third thing
that bothered me was that almost everyone in this
cast got naked, not just the girls, oh no, but the guys
as well, and all the sex they had, it was unbelievable.
I didn't know if I was watching a bad porno or a low
budget horror flick. And the forth thing that bothered me
about the movie was that the bodycount was way too low,
I've read that the director wants to have a lot
of gore and nudity in his films, well, we got the nudity,
but where's the gore?

The directing shifted from average quality to Camp
Blood quality if you know what I mean. Nothing
interesting about the directing at all, what surprised
me was that when I asked a friend of mine how
many copies of this movie the video store in his
quarter had, he said he couldn't tell because
they were all rented. For the acting, the entire cast
does a rather terrible job, I don't think I've seen a good
performance more than once from Debbie Rochon,
and that was in American Nightmare. There are some
actors that do manage to stay average though
so they're not all crap.

The plot is downright dumb, and that's coming from a
modern teenage slasher-fan. I guess we should be
happy when we get a plot at all though as just as
I said earlier, this movie focuses mainly on bringing
the audience some cheap hard-ons. This ultimately boring,
low budget, non scary slasher sure ruined my evening, still,
I have seen worse so I'll have to give this at least one star,
and I did sometimes enjoy the cheesy nudity. I just hope
that this isn't one of those slashers who get a sequel
because I know I will just do the same mistake there
and rent that aswell because I like the cover art.

As there isn't a very high body count we don't get
a lot of gore, some blood splatter, some guts pour out,
someone gets a hammer in the head, some slit throat
(which was more gory than most slit throat scenes),
an axe in the back and a knife through ones neck.
When we do get the gore, it is quite graphical
as you might understand.

I didn't really realise that there was a soundtrack
in this movie as it was nothing memorable at all,
the opening titles play some teen rock tune
to grab the young audience's attention. Then
there's some really bad "dance" music, at least they
could've used some good dance music right? Some
more rock after that and some strings and piano
playing which is average for all horror movies.

To tell you the truth I enjoyed Bloody Murder more
than this, this wasn't even so bad that it's funny,
this was just so bad that you wanted to commit
suicide for wrecking an hour and a half watching
this junk. Remember this people, good cover art
rarely come with a good movie. Simple cover art means
that the movie doesn't need good cover art because
the movie the movie is good anyway. Last movie I saw
that was this bad has to have been Head Cheerleader
Dead Cheerleader, which also starred Debbie Rochon,
wow, I'm quickly losing faith in that she will someday
become a good actress. Bottom line is that I think you
should stay away from this and rent something else
instead as you probably will kick yourself in the
ass after watching this movie. On the other hand,
if you do enjoy ultra low budget nudity soft porn horror,
then this is a must for you!
