Mallory and her small demon slaying crew, consisting of a
transvestite, a man, and a young girl, has to find and save
the pope who has been kidnapped by demons. But not only does
Mallory have to fight against demons, she also has to fight
against her horrible past.

Bloody Mallory was terrible, but I already knew that before
I watched it so I wasn't all that surprised. What surprised
me was that it looked like it had been shot on a fairly high
budget. It's like a lower budget version of Resident Evil.
I can't believe that this got a cinema release, I mean, who
watches these movies? It was like a flashback to the 80's
monster movies, you know, the ghoulies looked exactly like the
ones from the good old days.

The acting was bad but not terrible, these actors do what they
can with the material they were given, it's certainly not easy
not lift a movie like this with just good acting. The directing,
as I said, looks fairly high budget, and is definitely the best
thing about this movie. French people have always been excellent
at using contrast in a good way and making the directing look
interesting... but this time I felt a bit cheated. It seemed as
if the director didn't know how to get that eye-catching contrast
in this movie that most other French films have, so he decided
to dye Mallory’s hair red as blood, the transvestite's hair blue,
the little girl's hair dark blue, and then some demons have like
greenish hair and orange hair, anyone could've made a movie
with nice contrast with a cast with those haircolors.

This is a terrible movie, but the fact is, I enjoyed some parts
of it (certainly not all of it), which is why I have to grant
it with one star. Reviewers have criticised this film to death
and still I didn't listen, I just had to watch this movie anyway,
but you know, you should never trust critics, not even me.
I never decide whether if I should see a movie or not by reading
reviews, I just read them for fun to see what others thought
about the movies so that I can get high or low expectations
about a movie. I know some of you out there will love this film,
this is basically a film that you have to make up your own
mind for since this is a love it or hate it film.

People say this is gory... why? All we get is some really fake
looking stomach explosions and some head explosions. Then we
get some severed hand and some intestines splattered on a wall,
but other than that, not so much.

Most of the soundtrack consists of some techno music, which is
actually pretty bad aswell. Even though I think that techno &
drum 'n' bass music works for most horrormovies, it didn't do
the trick for this.

I for one hated this movie, but as there were some amusing
scenes, I just thought that it deserved better than 0 stars.
This is a love it or hate it kind of film and I think you
should make your own mind up about this. It resembles
a lot to Resident Evil, but you probably already got that from
seeing the poster. See this if you want to, but I can tell
you this, I liked Resident Evil, and I didn't like this,
so there must be something they weren't
doing just the right way.
