A serial killer dressed up in some weird Japanese
suit and mask is killing off a bunch off friends.
Ehmmm, yeah, that's what I managed to make out of
it at least.

What a strange movie! Since I haven't seen a Japanese
slasher since the 80's gore flick Evil Dead Trap (which
I absolutely loved) I definitely wanted to check out
this new one as the trailer made it look like a lot
of fun. Something which it was not! The trailer and
cover implies that this is a slasher flick but I
really can't describe in words what I just saw. Since
the movie was in Japanese without subtitles and since
my Japanese is very limited I didn't understand
everything but what I did understand made no sense.
Some of the time we get to see a crazy chef cleave
salad with different cleavers, then all of a sudden
we cut to a couple of friends getting killed for no
apparent reason. And what beat me the most was
probably the films short running time of 40 minutes.

This movie really didn't deserve a DVD release.
However, I don't know if you can call this a proper
DVD release as it has no extra material at all, not
even a menu, the movie just starts right away with
a questionable full screen presentation along with
stereo sound. Suffice to say, this was not the
entertaining slasher flick that I had hoped that it
would be. Though we do get nudity for once in a
Japanese horror flick.

The acting is relatively awful and so is the
directing and due to the fact that the plot was
awful, the murders were awful and everything about
this movie was awful. This is one slasher you'll
want to miss. Did I mention that it is only 40
minutes long? Oh yeah I did. Anyway, the DVD states
that it's an hour, well it technically is but the
end credits take 20 minutes, what a rip-off. Do not
see this flick it is terrible!

Some blood splatter but it's rather dry actually,
no bloody night here.

Once again this movie fails and leaves me with the
word "ehmm". The entire soundtrack consists of awful
techno and hip hop beats blended together with
Japanese restaurant music? What the hell.

This was bad. And I mean really bad. There aren't even
words for how bad this was. A 40 minute long "slasher"
flick with a weird plot that makes little to no sense
at all and despite the running time, you'll find yourself
taking 20 minute breaks from it now and then since it's
just so terrible. How hard is it to make a slasher?
