Five people are participating in a reality show
where the goal is to stay at the legendary camp,
Camp Blood for 24 hours. The camp site has over
the past couple of years become widely infamous
and the sole survivor of the massacres has gone
back to the asylum. What they don't know is that
the clown is back for one last slaughter.

This movie has been released under the title
Within The Woods in the US even though it was
obviously filmed as a Camp Blood sequel (which
is the reason to why I've listed it as Camp
Blood 3). What makes it so obvious that it's a
sequel to this cheesy series is the fact that
the camp site that they're at is called "Camp
Blackwood" with the letters BLOOD sprayed over
Blackwood on the sign. Oh and also the obvious
fact that the campfire story in this movie tells
us what happened in the previous two flicks.
Anyway, on with the review. In Camp Blood 2 we
got to see a film within a film, which was a
heavily overused concept back in the early 2000s
and in this one they've used the old big brother
style horror concept which made me question
whether this was a brand new flick or if this
was in fact made right after Camp Blood 2 back
in 2001. I mean, these kind of reality shows are
no longer popular so why would they use this
concept in a brand new horror flick?
The movie is filled with new things though.
First of all, there's yet another new killer
clown mask and once again, it's a brand new
sign saying Camp Blood just like in Camp Blood 2.
But at least Camp Blood 2 used the same camping
spot, this one seems to have been shot at an
entirely different location and the place that
they call camp here is basically just a campfire
next to a small path.
Camp Blood 3 also lacks in the cheesy humour
department which made the first two flicks so
entertaining. There is no hilariously bad
Jennifer Ritchkoff running around screaming her
lungs out (even though her characters is brought
up). Instead we have a couple of awful actors
running around in the woods, and I mean awful!
This is also a whole lot more predictable than
the previous two flicks and you can tell who
the killer is from a miles distance.
This will hopefully put an end to the Camp Blood
series, it's just a shame that Jennifer Ritchkoff
wasn't in it to kill the clown off once and for
all. Even if you liked the previous two, I don't
think that this one will manage to impress you.

We get a hand chopped off and a machete through
ones stomach in true Camp Blood style.

The song "Whatever it takes" which is played too
many times in this flick will manage to annoy
the hell out of you. There's very little suspense
score in it but there are some sound effects that
manage to give you a scare every now and then
surprisingly enough.

Awful addition in the Camp Blood series and if
you look at the US box-art, you can tell by the
actresses expressions that they are ready to kill
the director of this flick for ruining their
future career (as if there would ever be one for
these abysmal actors). Not at all as cheesy and
funny as the first two movies so don't expect much.
