Year: 2000
Directed by: Massimiliano Cerchi
Cast: Molinee Dawn

Four students take a trip to the great outdoors to take
a couple of photos for their assignment. Almost instantly
after their ride has left they are welcomed by Quiltface,
a deranged serial killer with a mask consisting of dead
people's skins. Wide open with nowhere to run, the students
have to fight for their own survival, this is where you
realise how close you really were with your friends.

Behold! For you who really liked the Camp Blood movies and
wanted a third one, this is an excellent replacement for a
Camp Blood 3. This gets my award as the worst slasher ever
made. With the short running time of 69 minutes, this slasher
has absolutely nothing to offer. The budget looks as if it
was just below the $100 mark and some of the dialogue is
almost impossible to hear because of the loud bass, the loud
wind, and the annoying soundtrack that drenches the dialogue.

All I can say about the acting is "haha". This was hilariously
bad. Why didn't they try to run away from the evil quiltface
instead of standing there screaming for ages. Worst among the
worst has to be Molinee Dawn, playing the part as Linda. It's
almost impossible to avoid laughing when she opens her mouth
and throws out some stupid comment. I also reacted on the fact
that every time that Quiltface kills someone with his plastic
looking machete, the only sound we here is a whip sounding
noise and then some distorted sound. Take notice that the
people always die instantly aswell without much of a fight.

Even if the acting was just about as bad as it could get,
the directing is, if possible, even worse. It looks as if
Mr. Cerchi has masturbated through the entire shooting of
this movie since he doesn't seem to manage to hold the
camera still for one second (if you disregard the scenes where
he has decided to put it on the ground or on a rock).
This is absolutely one of the worst movies that I have
ever witnessed in my entire life and let me remind you of that
I have seen movies like "Troll 2" and "House Of The Dead".

The only weapon used in this movie was a machete and it seems
as if they used the same prop machete for every kill, making
it look very cheap. Then we have some body parts hanging in
some strings which looks pretty cool. The fake machete is
jammed in places such as the head and in the hip.

Mack Hail (Nutbag) starred in this movie and it almost seems
as if Nutbag and Carnage Road are connected to each other
in some way since the soundtracks for the two movies are
almost identical. We have some "bells", I don't really know
what to call it and then we have some guitar music and some
really annoying wind and bass that thunders out through the
speakers. Terribly put together.

Even if it can be entertaining to see a masked killer jamming
a big machete into peoples heads without using any power or
strength, this movie falls into the category "so bad, it's terrible".
This was one of the most frustrating movies I ever had to watch,
it even seemed to me as if they made up some parts in the movie
while they were going along since some parts make absolutely no
sense at all. If you still want to see this movie after reading
this review I have to say that I do admire your courage.
