Two
teenage girls are going to a rave in the middle of
the woods but end up getting kidnapped, raped and
brutally beaten by a bunch of thugs. Will they get out
of this alive? Or will this be their tragic death?

Chaos was originally meant to be a remake of "The Last
House On The Left", but a week into production, the
producer felt that it was original enough to stand
on its own. Well, it's not and I'm glad that this wasn't
released as a sequel or remake to The Last House On
The Left because it is nowhere near as good and does
not deserve to be connected with that movie.
Since it was written as a remake, Chaos naturally comes
off as being a complete LHOTL rip-off. But it seems as
if David DeFalco just didn't get what made LHOTL so
special. Chaos may be quite brutal at times, but in
no way is this as disturbing as LHOTL was (nor does
it have a message to deliver). Just like with Murder Set
Pieces, it tries too hard to be shocking and ends up
feeling quite ridiculous. To top it all off we are
treated with one of the most outrageous endings ever,
which is so ludicrous that you can't help but to laugh.
David should have just stuck with the original ending
(he might as well have since that's the only thing that
wasn't copied straight out off LHOTL).
The acting was also incredibly bad and helped ruin the
movie. None of the actors seemed very into their parts,
and even if this might be understandable since all
the characters were very shallow, that's still not an
excuse for acting this bad. How are we supposed
to be able to root for these two girls if all we know
about them is that they like to party and do drugs
anyway? As I said before - David DeFalco just didn't
seem to get what made LHOTL disturbing.
I don't really have a whole lot more to say about this
movie now. It's disrespectful to horror fans and I'm
really just done with it. I actually watched the
unrated director's cut of this movie and the movie
itself was only 68 minutes long so I wonder how long
the rated version of this is. Either way, don't check
this one out, go rent LHOTL again instead.

We get a nipple cut off and some chainsaw action, not
a whole lot gore.

Nothing special here.

Fails completely to capture the essence of the movie
that it rips off; The Last House On The Left. Chaos
may want to be disturbing but unless you're a horror
movie virgin, I doubt you will find this very shocking.
Sure, it's hard to watch, but for all the wrong reasons
so don't bother with this one.
