The evil
chupacabra has finally been captured and with
an unknowing captain, it's been transferred onto a ship.
Unfortunately the chupacabra doesn't plan on staying in
his cage for very long and soon escapes and starts feeding
of the passengers and crew. Will anyone survive this
mythical nightmare?

Titanic is one of the highest grossing movies of all time
so why not replace the iceberg with a mythical Mexican
monster which according to the legend feeds on goat blood?
Normally I would say something clever here which would
make the plot sound stupid but honestly, I actually
think that this is one of Sci-Fi's better productions.
The plot is basically the same as every other creature
feature flick with a killer creature, a young hot chick
who knows how to kick ass, a couple of military smart
asses, endless supplies of weapons and a thief to make
the tension build up even more. The good guy vs. bad guy
vs. evil creature concept never really did it for me but
fortunately, they didn't spend so much time focusing on
the bad guy in this movie.
Why Titanic cost so much to make beats me because the
CGI boat in this flick looks almost just as good. In
fact, all the special effects are actually really good
and another pleasant surprise was that the creature
isn't CGI, thank god for that! The story is however
very predictable and the ending really is a big let
down, seeing as how the creature can only be killed in
one way according to the movie, and that way is not
the way they use in the end.
Flaws aside I think Chupacabra Terror is a pretty
solid creature feature with many things going for it.
It never gets uninteresting and the body count is
high through the entire movie. It's really nice to
finally get a horror movie about the chupacabra
which doesn't completely suck like El Chupacabra,
Bloodthirst and Legend Of The Chupacabra. If you
want to see a good killer chupacabra movie, this is
definitely your best choice!

The blood runs in rivers with arms getting bit off,
bodies being ripped in half and necks being, well
basically just ripped.

Very standard soundtrack for a creature feature only
without the annoying army music they tend to play
in some of these flicks.

Pretty entertaining creature feature, and not a
moment too late. We've seen a lot of abysmal
creature features recently so check this one out
if you haven't totally lost faith in them. It's
not excellent, but it's worth your while.
