Someone is killing off the party crew on
a remote paradise island. It seems as if the
murders are based on a song that the owner
of the island recorded many years ago but the
message is unclear so finding out who the
murder is will be a very hard thing to do,
especially if you might die trying.

Finally! A theatrical horrorcomedy that doesn't
over do it like Scary Movie. And this is can
really classify as horror aswell. It starts out
with three quite bloody murders and then goes
back to one hour earlier where a boat full of
crazy teens is heading towards the island.
From here on it all goes pretty fast, people
start dying at a pretty early stage in the movie.
A small spoiler here. The best kill is definitely
the one where a girl tries to escape in a small
car and it's this really intense scene where she
tries to get it started and then finally gets it
started but since it goes about 0miles p/hour the
killer just walks next to it and kills her while
she is driving. Now that's pure entertainment.
Brittany "Sweet Valley High" Daniel is a great
actress and it beats me why she hasn't starred
in more movies than she has. Jordan Ladd, who's
still fresh in memory after Cabin Fever, also
gives us a great performance. There's really
nothing wrong with the acting skills in this movie.
This might not be a masterpiece and it's really
not that good of a movie. I don't think I've ever
been so sure about a movies rating before but
this was just a crystal clear three pointer. It's
entertaining, it's stupid, but it's also totally
forgettable. I don't think that this is something
that you will watch more than once for it's
nothing special at all.

For being classified as a horrorcomedy, it's
really gory. A person gets split in half, one
gets the head dismembered and one gets a
machete through the stomach. Quite graphic and
very realistic looking if I may say so.

We're on a paradise island here, I don't think
that it takes a genius to figure out what kind
of music is involved here. It's all just some
mediocre calypso music and some disco music.

Totally forgettable but still entertaining horror-
comedy that manages to keep some seriousness.
This is not one of those movies that crack stupid
and obvious tongue-in-the-cheek jokes. They are
pretty crude and silly but it's still not as bad
as Scary Movie humour. Worth a watch though.
