Four girlfriends head out in the desert to go
clubbing. Maria is still suffering from her
sisters tragic death but does everything she
can in order to have fun this weekend. When a
mysterious killer shows up, this is a whole
lot easier said than done. Will anyone survive
or will they all be cursed by El Charro?

It's not often that Scandinavia gets to see DTV
horror movies first, or horror movies in general
for that matter, so when this was released in
my video store I was thrilled and picked it up
immediately. To my surprise it turns out that
this was actually a slasher flick and you all
know how much I love slasher flicks. The story
revolves around a couple of teenagers who are
offed one by one by a mysterious zombie killer.
The movie tends to become slow at times and I
didn't care much for the "old footage" that they
had thrown in every here and there in the movie
but all in all, this was actually not half bad.

Andrew Bryniarski, who also played Leatherface in
"The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" remake, is a great
villain as El Charro. He looks creepy and still
manages to keep a mysterious profile throughout
the movie. The acting is actually pretty good
from everyone and one of the girls give us one
of the most memorable death scenes in movie
history as you can't help but to laugh at her
hysterical laugh when she gets decapitated, it
really has to be seen to be believed.

I was actually pretty surprised at how good this
flick was, but I guess anything will be good
after having watched a movie as horrid as "The
Last Slumber Party". I think that this is a
pretty mainstream slasher flick which will
attract many teenyboppers, but don't let that
scare you off as it's actually a quite entertaining
horror flick. So for all you slasher fanatics out
there, check this one out.

We get a couple of slit throats, a bunch of gory
decapitations, and a hand cut off.

I wasn't too fond of the cheap metal music that
seemed to be the only music that was in this
movie. Not a very atmospheric score at all.

Pretty entertaining slasher flick which will not
only entertain teenyboppers, but also the hard
to please horror fanatics such as myself. It's
definitely worth a shot so don't miss this one.
