Five guys have decided to start a contest in order to
kill some time where the object of the game is to have
sex with as many girls as possible within a short
period of time. This works out very well for Constance
and her seductive alien friends and they naturally
decide to join in on the fun... but Luke is on to them,
will he be able to kill them once and for all this
time, or will the decoys finally win the battle?

Oh what could have been. Ever since I saw the first
movie a couple of years ago, I've been aching for a
sequel. The first Decoys had everything that a good
horror comedy should have; hot babes, cheesy jokes
and a couple of good scares. Decoys 2 has nothing of
those. The gags are poor, the storyline is weak (and
borrows heavily from several other teenage comedies),
there are no scares to be found in here at all and the
aliens just aren't that hot. Even Kim Poirier is
looking less attractive than before.

Obviously shot on a lower budget, Decoys 2 opens up
with an average-looking blonde girl having sex with
some random fellow in a car. The tentacles come out
and the opening credits start to roll. This is where
my alarm clock first went off. The tentacles are very
poorly animated (nothing like in the first movie) and
there's all ready a lack of pace in here. Uh-oh. The
story soon begins as five college guys have just came
up with a contest where you have to have sex with as
many girls as possible within a short period of time.
How American Pie, ey? Constance (Kim Poirier) soon
shows up with a couple of alien babes by her side to
join in on the fun (and we will see both cheap,
blonde wigs and extremely poor hair extensions
when they appear).

The story is just really poor. It's got some serious
pacing problems and the execution just isn't there.
After an hour I was like "oh my god, when is it over
all ready?" For some reason they've thrown Kim Poirier
and Corey Sevier into this one as well - despite the
fact that both died in the first movie (why not just
come up with a new concept for the sequel?). Oh but
don't worry, their parts are so small that they can
almost count as cameo appearances.

As I mentioned before, the special effects are truly
horrible, and it doesn't stop with the tentacles. The
worst thing of all is probably the aliens. They bare
a slight resemblance to the ones in the first movie,
but their mouth is just so funny (and cute) that you
can't help but to giggle every time they open it up.
There's no gore in here either to brag about, nor is
there a lot of nudity so my question is; why is it
rated R? I'm sure this is what it says in MPAA's file;
MPAA: Rated R for some, supposedly, sexual content.

I guess that I'm just really bummed out since I had
expected so much more out of this sequel. It could have
been great but unfortunately the script writers didn't
really seem to care much about the story. I loved the
original but this was just poor, so stick to the first
movie instead and stay away from this snooze-fest.

Nothing.

The ska-punk and rock music was pretty decent but the
suspense score was under all critique. Very cheesy and
90's to say the least.

Disappointing sequel that doesn't live up to the first
movie at all. It's got some serious pacing issues and
I struggled to stay awake through the entire thing, it
just wasn't an interesting story-line. So if you enjoyed
the first movie as much as I did, watch that one again
and forget that this sequel was ever made.
