A couple of friends travel out to a house in the country to fix it
up and make it a foster home again. Ten years ago the foster home was
shut down as a madman called Martin killed all the kids. They are
supposed to meet Jerry at the house but when he never shows up, the
friends start to suspect that something's wrong. They decide to try
to not think about it too much and have some fun instead and start
working in the morning. That might not be such a good idea since
some of them will probably never get to see the morning as it seems
as if Martin has come back to the house.

Yet another so 80's slasher transferred to DVD. This has the exact
same thing that Cutting Class and Rush Week had against them, it
was to focused on being hip in the time made so it feels very 80's
today. However, that's not the only thing that this movie has
against it. For starters I would like to say that there was a laugh
in the movie, but it sure as hell didn't sound very evil, also,
I was tricked by the awesome box cover for this movie, I was
expecting someone in a reaper mask to pop up and kill the teens,
but nope, no reaper mask in sight. We do get a very silly mask
near the ending though, which we were only to see in the last 2 or
3 killings and not in the first ones, was there some point of that?

All these 80's slashers gave us some big names today, George Clooney,
and Brad Pitt for example, this didn't bring us one name that we
ever heard of. In fact, Kim McKamy is the only one that really made
it anywhere after this movie, starring in a bunch of porno movies
until the recent horror remake of Willard. The directing is so and
so, nothing too special, but I have to say that I was impressed by
the use of lights in the dark basement, you can see everything
that you're meant to see in the dark and that's not very common in
horrormovies, especially not slashers.

So far I have almost only said bad things about this movie, but
there are indeed some good things in this movie, even if you have
to look for them. There's a lot of unintentional humour, some quite
creepy scenes, even if they might not be very suspenseful as they
usually only last for about 5 seconds. Another good thing about the
movie was the totally wacko ending, I know many people might think
it sucked, but I liked it, it was different from your average slasher.
Let me put it this way, this wasn't a very good slasher, but it
could have been a lot worse and I thought that it had job a pretty
good job keeping me entertained so I think it deserves 2 stars, not
more, not less.

This was a huge let down, but as I said before, it's pretty much
the same as Cutting Class and Rush Week, which means that there
would be no gore in this either. We get a cut out liver, a quite
realistic slit throat, some bloody stabbings and an axe in the head.

80's. 80's. 80's. This is all just a lot of 80's pop music, I hate
it, feels very out of date. Speaking about out of date, we also get
to hear a piece of Wagner's Wilhelm Tell Overture.

I didn't think this was that bad but I have to say that it didn't
live up to my expectations, nor its box art. For a slasher fan
like myself, this was quite entertaining. But I really think you
have to be a slasher fan to be able to watch this movie since it
is pretty cheesy and slow in some parts. I might watch this again
and see if it grows in my mind, though, I highly suspect that it wont.
