A bunch of teen friends go to party at the Crystal
Lake summer camp, despite that some kids got killed
there that very same summer. A girl among the
friends is worried since she was attacked by a man
last year and as Jason shows up to kill her friends,
her fear comes true!

One of the better films in the series, which really
doesn't say much. Like the first film, this pretty
standard stuff but done with wit, professionalism
and a budget! The plot is contrived enough to make
us want to watch, there's some pleasing gore, OK
acting but most important - 3-D effects.
3-D effects was a huge audience-puller in the 80s
and cleverly used in horror films Part 3 (examples:
Amityville 3-D, Jaws 3-D) and even though they might
seem cheap and corny today, they're still
a lot of fun!
This film is nowhere scary or effective, as it might
have been during its days but it's a nice example of
teen slashers in the 80s as it has all those
important ingredients for a Friday the 13th film:
teens getting naked and smoking pot, a pretty
heroine, flashy gore and of course Jason - in his
hockey-mask for the very first time!
The plot pretty much follows the storyline of the
first movie, dropping and adding some parts along
the way - often with positive results. Overall, this
has some pleasing suspense and a good climax
(ripping off the original's final shocker twist).
A good sequel and a memorable film in the series.

Meat-cleavers, knitting needles, pitchforks, spears
and fireplace-pokers are all used as deadly weapons.
Most memorable murders involves head-squeezing with
eyes popping out as result, and a victim walking on
his hands chopped in half with a machete.

The usual "chi chi cha cha" sounds.

If you're into a classic Friday the 13th film with
naked teens, 3-D effects, mucho gore and a machete-
wielding, hockey-masked Jason, this is the sequel
for you! 80s fun for everyone!
