An old prison
is just about to be demolished when some
construction workers discover a sub-basement filled
with old skeletons. They decide to ignore it and go
ahead with their plans, but it doesn't take long before
people around the prison start to turn up dead. Who or
what is responsible for this, and does it have any
connection with the weird skeletons in the basement?

What's going on over at Warner Brothers? They sure are
releasing some no-budget crap these days. I've just
recovered from watching the atrocious horror movie
"June Cabin" released by them, only to have to sit
through this nonsense. For shame! Fallen Angels is a
low-budget horror flick with a religious theme (and
you all know how much I hate religious-themed horror
movies, especially when the devil is the most likeable
person in the entire movie). It may sound like a slasher
from my plot description but it's not - at all. It's
more or less a monster-flick with a thin story that's
filled with plot holes and some really poor actors.
The movie takes place in an old abandoned prison which
is being demolished. When a construction worker finds
a bunch of weird skeletons in a sub-basement of the
prison, the demolition is halted. Unfortunately, it's
all ready too late as the evil has been unleashed and
is taking out its wrath on anyone it can find. A cop
decides to investigate further into the matter and
finds out that it may be the devil himself who's
responsible for all the recent killings, and that by
every person he kills, he gets stronger. At first it's
just some strange little creature killing people, then
it's a very cool-looking monster (the high light of
the film) and finally it's a man with horns in his
forehead. BAH! And when a fallen angel starts showing
emotions because he's been forgiven by some random
man, I started utilizing the fast-forward button
(unfortunately it was only ten minutes left of the
movie). Two hours of my life that I will never get back.
Fallen Angels is very poorly constructed and it's
difficult to stay focused since there's too much
going on and there are too many characters involved.
Hell, I'm not even sure what the movie was really
about at this point, nor do I really care. There are
also a whole bunch of plot holes that are hard to
overcome - luckily I didn't even try to make any
sense of them since I knew that it wasn't possible to
do so. This was obviously a rookie effort so I decided
to look up what director/writer Jeff Thomas had done
before and I got one movie result; 13 Seconds. The
atrocious horror flick "13 Seconds". No wonder this
turned out to be so horrible. I really disliked this
incompetent horror movie and I have no intentions of
spending any more time with it, especially since I have
like ten more movies to watch today so let's just move
onto the next one.

A slit throat, some guts, a lot of blood splatter, a
decapitation, eyes gouged out (kind of) and some more.

Not so much of a soundtrack as it was a lot of humming
noises and cheap sound effects.

Atrocious horror movie that doesn't make much sense and
is way too long for its own good. Jeff Thomas obviously
needs to hire someone to write his next script since
he seems to be way too good at plot holes. Don't expect
this movie to make sense, because it doesn't. Avoid.
