Dennis lives
the perfect life. He has a loving family
and loves his job. One day while on his way to his
office he ends up in a car accident which causes his
spirit to transfer into another body - the body of a
serial killer. What's even worse is that the serial
killer's spirit is now in Dennis' body.

Freaky Friday meets The Stepfather in yet another
disappointing episode of Fear Itself. Well, I can't
say that I was disappointed honestly since I've all
ready figured out that this show is going to suck
through and through. I mean in the next episode we
have the stars from "Psych" getting into some sort
of trouble, is it supposed to be a spin-off or? Eh,
what the heck, let's try to crack Family Man open
before we start bashing in next weeks episode shall we?
Family Man has a rather thin story-line where a loving
father's spirit is transfered into the body of a
brutal serial killer's. Yeah, ridiculous, I know.
So since the story is so thin we have a lot of padding
going on here. I think we get a total of 5 minutes of
pointless shots of the killer sitting in his cell,
another 5 minutes of nonsense dialogues between Dennis
and the killer and 40 minutes of pure mediocrity.
Certainly not a winner in my eyes.
Then we have the cast, which is all-around surprisingly
great and make the movie watchable. Wait, did I say
all-around? Sorry Mr. Clifton Collins Jr, this is yet
another review where your performance is going to get
picked on. Why would they have so many good actors and
then have the worst one be the star of the movie? It
doesn't make any sense. Probably it was because of
his resumé which is rather impressive, I don't remember
seeing him in any of the movies listed but I'm sure
that he must've been much more convincing in the other
films because with performances like this he should
be lucky to get a supporting role
in a low-grade horror flick.
In the end, Family Man isn't quite as abysmal as Spooked
and it's almost as okay as The Sacrifice but not quite.
A bad movie nevertheless and another nail in the coffin
for this terrible new series. Let's hope that they
bring back Masters Of Horror instead, surely that was
a lot more fun than this rubbish.

Not much here, some stabbings.

Meh.

I really don't feel like writing anything here, this
movie was just a waste of time in my opinion. It wasn't
awful, but it certainly wasn't good and doesn't get
my hopes back up that this show can be saved. Go buy
yourself a real movie instead.
