All the mothers in a small town have been infected with
a virus which makes them hunger for flesh. As they turn
into flesh eating cannibal monsters, their children have
to find a way to stop them before they get eaten
themselves by their flesh eating mothers!

I've had this one on my shelf for a while but the title
really put me off but I'm pretty happy that I finally
saw it as I kind of enjoyed it. I mean, it's not a good
flick but this is cheesy cannibal comedy at its best.
The movie can be described as Desperate Housewives mixed
with Cannibal Apocalypse and it's actually a pretty
clever idea. Everything about the movie is very cheesy
though, especially when the doctors look at the virus
in a microscope and the virus shows up on our screen
as a cartoon. I don't know, maybe The Suckling damaged
my brain because my friend who I watched it with
completely hated this movie but anyway I still found
this pretty amusing.

The acting is really terrible and it's so hilarious
when you can actually see people looking down in the
ground to read their dialogues from a piece of paper.
The directing is also pretty terrible and in some
scenes you just ask yourself what the hell he was
trying to do really. Still, all of this just made
this movie so much more fun to watch. Flesh Eating
Mothers is really one of those cheesy movies that
proves that anything will be put on DVD these days.

This is definitely not a movie for everyone as it's
really not a good movie, the only reason to why I liked
it was due to the cheese factor and I just love having a
good laugh every once in a while. It's not a movie that
you rent for the horror, it's the kind of movie that you
rent to get drunk with your friends with and laugh at
because it's just so incredibly funny.

We get a lot of arm munching, severed arms and blood
splatter. Nothing too graphic though.

Very cheesy synth background music but blends in with
the movie perfectly.

Cheesy horror comedy at its best, though this is not a
movie that will scare anyone, it's really just a crazy
fun movie to laugh at. Not for everyone but hell, I
found it pretty damn entertaining.
