Freddy wants to return to Elm Street in order to slaughter
innocent teens once again, but to do so he has to bring fear
to the small town that he once terrorized. He decides that
the best thing to do is bring Jason back to life once again
to put fear into the teens of Elm Street. His plans seems to
be working perfectly, but when Freddy has all of his powers
back, Jason doesn't seem to want to stop. This will have
terrifying consequences, not only for the teens on Elm Street
but also for the two biggest slashers in history.

After months of waiting, the clash of Freddy and Jason is
finally here. I can't say that it was beyond my expectations
as I think that with a budget of 30 million dollars you can
turn almost any horrormovie script into a good movie. While
Freddy vs. Jason was a good and almost great movie, I still
thought that the fights between the two were a bit drawn-out
and that they could have entertained us with a higher body-
count instead. Not that the bodycount wasn't high but I
had expected it to be higher.

Kelly Rowland is a surprisingly good actress and together
with Monica Keena and Katharine Isabelle, they make one
hell of a team. Director Ronny Yu shows us that not only
drama movies can have excellent directing. This was very
style fully directed and well put together with awesome
special effects and disturbingly nice angles. I was however
a bit disappointed that Kane Hodder didn't play the part
as Jason Voorhees as he will in my opinion always be the
real Jason even if he wasn't the original one.

I can't say that this was the best of the Friday The 13th
movies as it felt more like a Nightmare On Elm Street movie.
But for being a Nightmare On Elm Street movie it was kick-ass
and by far the best of them. There are a couple of plot
holes though which I felt were pretty obvious plot holes
and that made me question the original script. However, I
hope that this is a new beginning for a brand new slasherwave.

We get a couple of severed heads, various stomach impalements,
a lot of bloody slashings, one gets the arms cut off and a
lot of more goodies.

There's the usual shhh ahhh Friday the 13th music along with
some rock music but the most impressive score in this movie
was the excellent techno track played at the party. I loved
the soundtrack for this, kicked ass, just like the movie.

Alright so it's no Shakespeare but it sure is more entertaining
than a Shakespeare. What this movie has is action, gore, nudity
and more gore and for a slasher this is a concept that can't
really fail. I felt as if they could've had more of a story to
it though, but other than that this is highly recommended.
