Rachel
works as a stripper and is on her way home when
she is hit by a cab. She wakes up at a hospital where
she realizes that the grim reaper is after her. Moments
later she finds herself in an asylum with a bunch of
other teens who also think that they're being stalked
by the grim reaper. Oh and there's a mad doctor in here
as well who made a pact with the reaper... ehmm, yeah
I think that's all.

The only thing grim about this movie is having to
watch it. Michael Feifer returns to the slasher genre
with this confusing, boring mess that, for most of
the time, makes no sense at all. I've never understood
how you can screw up a slasher flick. I mean, all you
need is a bunch of hot teens, a masked killer and
some blood and you've got yourself a winner. Grim
Reaper has all of those ingredients but it's still
an utter atrocity - why? Well let me try to guide you
through it, but prepare to be confused.
Rachel is a stripper and is on her way home late one
night when the cab that's supposed to pick her up,
rams into her. A strange man tells her to stay in
the light and she replies politely with a "thank you".
All of a sudden she's in a hospital where the cab
driver tells her that the grim reaper is coming to
get them. Then a bad-tempered nurse notices that
Rachel hasn't got a pulse. Err... let's see, where
was I going with this... oh right. She sneaks out of
the room and sees the grim reaper kill the cab driver,
she freaks out and attacks the nurse.
She wakes up inside a mental institution where a bunch
of teens, who are also positive that the grim reaper
is coming to get them, have been locked up. Naturally
the grim reaper shows up and starts killing the teens
one by one. This sounds like a perfectly decent plot
and without all the subplots about the grim reaper
and the mad doctor, I'm sure it could have been quite
entertaining - but the movie we have here is anything
but. The Grim Reaper is extremely boring and I found
it really difficult to sit through it all but I figured,
"hey, maybe the conclusion is half-decent". Well it's
not. The conclusion is probably the lamest thing about
the entire movie - it's like they realized that this
wasn't going to be a good movie anyway so they might
as well just skip making a good ending.
I hope this wasn't a preview of what we're in for in
terms of horror flicks this year as I might as well
just put the site offline right away then. There is
no chance in hell that I'm going to sit through movies
like this for an entire year so I hope to god that
this wasn't a preview of the upcoming year. Avoid!

A couple of dull impalements, a guy gets split in half,
and some more. Nothing special.

Eh, it was better than the movie itself I guess.

Atrocious and extremely boring slasher flick which
goes from making no sense at all to being the most
underwhelming slasher flick in history. I can't believe
movies like this get made. There's just one word to
describe what I just saw; pathetic!
