Julie is still suffering from nightmares after last
years massacre so when her friend wins a vacation
to the Bahamas, Julie is more than happy to come
with her. What she doesn't know is that her hook
wielding fisherman friend is all ready there,
waiting for her and her friends arrival to once
again remind her of what happened that summer.

Sequels are rarely as good as the first movie and
even if this isn't really as good as the first one,
it still isn't bad enough to get a worse rating.
This is actually pretty damn good for being a
sequel and even if the story hasn't changed, well,
at all really, this feels very true to the first
one and that's always appreciated. I love the
fact that it takes place on an island as it makes
the tension much higher, knowing that these teens
are actually trapped with nowhere to go.
Jennifer Love Hewitt is just as strong in this one
as she was in the first one. Freddie Prinze Jr.
however has a very small part and you can tell
that he wasn't too pleased with this since his
performance here is only acceptable. So what is
RnB artist Brandy doing in this one? Well my guess
is that they were afraid that this was going to
flop and figured that throwing in a popular singer
would draw more people, and it probably worked too.
Brandy is a pretty good actress though and she
screams her lunges out here which was nice to
see. I felt a bit sorry for her though as she has
to crash through windows not once, not twice but
three times in the flick.
While not entirely as good as the first flick,
ISKWYDLS still manages to impress with its good
looking photography and nice gore. As most of you
know, slasher sequels always tend to have a higher
body count than the first one, that goes for this
one as well. So if you still haven't seen this,
don't miss it, it's almost as good as the first
one and it sure is entertaining.

We get more hook action in this one with a hook in
ones hand, a cool neck impalement, a machete in
the head and a whole lot more.

Less rock music in this one actually and more of
a pop soundtrack and naturally since Brandy is in
it, we also get some R'n'B grooves. Pretty cool.

Not far from as good as the first one and manages
to grab the same rating. Entertaining, relatively
gory and with lots of hook action. A bit more
inspired by Scream than the first one but who
cares as long as it's entertaining right?
