Jo gets pissed off when her newfound friends decide
to turn her in for a practical joke that she had
nothing to do with. She seeks comfort in the Internet
as usual and finds out about a new virus called The
Mangler v2.0 so she decides to download it just to
get back at the school. Turns out that the virus has
a taste for flesh as it starts killing off everyone
inside the school and it doesn't look as if anyone
is getting out alive.

While The Mangler is a cheesy but very entertaining
movie, this sequel is really nothing but terrible.
The Mangler 2 is one of those movies that look pretty
good but underneath the peal it's all rotten. This
movie delivers plot hole after plot hole and there's
really nothing believable about the story at all.
Even if I don't think that it's possible to spoil
this movie I have to warn you that minor spoilers are
ahead of you.
To begin with, the directing looks pretty good but
what ruins the film, directorial wise, is the scene
transfers and the cutting. There is for example one
scene where the teens are running and we get to see
a guy slip. The screen goes black for a couple of
seconds while we hear the teens talk to eachother,
the next we see is two of the teens sitting in the
grass crying their eyes out and the guy who recently
slipped on the stairs is missing and he is never
mentioned again. Let's not forget the other thing
that totally ruins the movies feeling, the opening
titles. Could they have chosen a cheesier font to
go along with that light red colour when displaying
the movies title.
There are also a couple of annoying things that
make this movie the terrible movie that it is.
Somewhere in the beginning of the film, four of
the main characters go to listen to the principal.
What annoyed me about that scene was that all the
seats in the entire room were taken except the
four seats in the front that the friends take.
Another annoying thing was the way Jo came out to
be the heroine in the movie even if it was her
who had caused all of this. Did the scriptwriters
have no idea of what they were doing.
And what is up with the dance and techno music
which is played constantly in the background. This
just made the movie feel even cheesier. All I can
say is that this is a sloppily thrown together
horrormovie with very little to offer. Even if
you loved The Mangler, I see no chance of you
liking this. This was just a very bad idea. I mean,
a computer virus causes cables to grab scissors,
axes and other various tools and kill people.
What the heck. NOW, I've seen it all.

This could have been quite a gory movie if they
had only shown the gore instead of cutting to
another scene as soon as someone is about to get
killed. Ugh. What's this movie good for anyway.

As I mentioned before in my review, there's a lot
of annoying dance and techno music played in the
background constantly. There's also some piano
music and some rock music which is played much
louder than the rest of the movie.

You are right my friend, I really didn't like this
movie at all and I don't think that anyone else
who's seen it feels differently. This is just one
big piece of garbage that I hope that I will never
have to witness again. Even if I've already seen
it twice, just to be able to bring you this review.
