A couple of friends decide to celebrate Christmas this year
by getting extremely drunk. Santa Claus has some different
plans though and decides that these boys have been naughty
and that they need to be punished and so the body count
begins. Will anyone survive or will they all die?

Perkelle! This was a bad slasher flick. Murhapukki is a
Finish no-budget slasher flick made by a couple of friends
with nothing better to do (or so it seems at least.) There
is no real plot in the movie, it's just a bunch of drunken
losers getting offed by a killer in a Santa costume. The
movie is approximately 30 minutes long and thank god for
that, I'm surprised I even managed to stay awake through
those painful 30 minutes.

The acting is absolutely horrific but as I said, this was
obviously made by a couple of guys who had way too much
time on their hands. The directing is the best thing about
the movie and it's shockingly enough shot in widescreen but
even so, it still looks incredibly home made and I was just
waiting for the Finland’s Funniest Home videos logo to show
up on my screen. Not that the movie is funny in any way but
most of those home videos aren't.

I won't bother writing a long review about a movie which
doesn't really have a plot and since it's incredibly home
made, I don't even know whether this even should be called
a movie or not but since a couple of people wanted me to
review it after having seen the mask for it in the slasher
masks section I figured I'd give it a shot. Anyway, don't
go out and buy this awful mess as it is not worth your
money, spend it on something better.

The special effects are very bad but we still do get some
gore in this including a hand chopped off, a slit throat,
a dismembered head and some fingers cut off.

I'm not a big fan of heavy metal so I didn't like the score
at all, the theme melody was pretty nice though.

When I say that this is a Finnish homemade amateur slasher,
that should be enough for you not to check this movie out.
It's really a terrible and stupid slasher and even though
it does have some gore, it doesn't look realistic anyway.
