Seven friends are hiding a dark secret since a couple of years
back but unsuspected their past comes back to haunt them,
literally. The friends are dropping dead one by one and it seems
as if everyone saw their long dead friend just before they died,
is she trying to tell them something or is she just back for
revenge? They have to find out soon because time is running out.

The Korean horrormovie with many names, Nightmare, Scissors and
Horror Game Movie are just a few of them, is perfect for a
dark rainy night in front of the TV. It's scary and violent but
if you watch it in daytime you will find that it's really just
the atmosphere that creates the movie. The story is confusing
and you never know what is the past or the present in the movie.

Byeong-ki Ahn, who is also responsible for the horrormovie Phone,
makes a great directorial debut here. Unfortunately there are
many flaws that are very similar to the ones in Phone. The storyline
is weak but creepy and you get the feeling that the movie was good
even though you know that it was really bad when you come to think
of it. The directing does however look excellent, I noticed that
the movie had been shot in widescreen format but the scenes shot
with a homecamera weren't and that made it frustrating watching
those scenes cause everyone looks wider in just those scenes.

The acting is all right, what you should expect from a high budget
horrormovie from Asia today. It was fun to see Ji-won Ha from
the earlier mentioned horrormovie Phone again, she sure is a
talented actress. Our new Asian supernatural heroine indeed.
There were some actors who had a very normal look so you couldn't
tell them apart from the crowd sometimes which was annoying.

Horror Game Movie or whatever you'd like to call it is a really
creepy flick but the ending is too ridiculous and very anti-
climax. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this movie tries
to be too clever for it's own good. No one likes a triple twist
ending, that's just confusing. I was thinking of giving this
four stars but after closer consideration, I can only bare myself
to give it three. Sorry Byeong-ki Ahn.

A lot of bloodsplatter and a gory impalement.

This is a really mixed bag with piano music, ballads, dance
music, rock music, yeah, just about everything you could ask
for. Excellent, I love a variation in the soundtrack.

This is one for the Phone fans out there since it is pretty
much the same movie when you come to think of it. This is
nothing original at all and I thought that they could have
handled a lot of things in a different way than they did to
make it easier for the audience to follow the story. But after
all, this was obviously just made to scare the hell out of you.
