When Juan was a child, his sister disappeared mysteriously without a
trace. Now Juan has grown up, he's got a loving wife and two children and
he works as a police. One day he gets assigned a new case, which involves
the disappearance of a man three years ago. As he seeks deeper into the
truth of what happened to the man, he soon learns that thousands of people
have gone missing without a trace in Spain in the last 20 years. He seeks
help on the case from an ex cop who had the case before him but went insane.
Unfortunately he gets no answers out of the ex cop and decides to go on
investigating by himself. What he doesn't know is that by taking on this
case, he may be jeopardizing his two children’s lives.

Another supernatural drama thriller in the vein of Los Sin Nombre to come
out of Spain. The only thing different about this is that this is the only
one that I've seen that has been bad. I'm one of those people who like it
when the story takes time to develop, but I don't want to sit through a
movie that doesn't lead anywhere. Nos Miran was just incredibly slow, one
of the slowest movies I've ever seen and it goes on and on for almost two
hours without anything happening. There were no scares, no intense or
creepy scenes, not even the ghosts looked scary since all you saw was
basically some dark shadows here and there.

As usual, Spanish horror directors are great and I have to confess that the
directing in this movie is absolutely splendid. The opening scene is amazingly
well shot and it's just a big feast for your eyes but the directing is
unfortunately not enough to save this snooze fest. The acting is good aswell,
it's the story that doesn't hold, it's simply too weak and uninteresting.
At least they could've thrown in one scary scene in this movie, I mean,
how hard can it be to just make one jump scene, just to keep it interesting.

A huge disappointment here, especially considering the origin of the movie
and just look at that kick ass poster, too bad the poster is scarier than
the movie itself. Also, I have to complain about the unoriginal title "Nos
Miran" (They're Watching), I've had enough of these "catchy" short Spanish
horror titles, the only good thing I have to say about this movie was the
incredibly good-looking directing but other than that, this is just a waste
of way too much money.

Nothing.

Even if the main theme for this movie was atmospheric and creepy, it was
as if they didn't have anything else to play since that damn piano melody
went on and on for like 50% of the movie. You can even hear that, now very
annoying melody, on the official website.

This Spanish ghost story was a complete let down. No originality. No scares.
No plot. There was absolutely nothing going on in this movie, believe me,
the whole movie could be shortened to 10 minuets without losing anything of
the plot. It was just a lot of bogus through the entire movie. For you who
think this is a good movie let me just say, just because a movie looks good,
doesn't mean that it is good. But if you feel like spending 2hours in front
of the TV, half sleeping, then go ahead.
