A couple
moves from New York out into the middle
of nowhere. The man is a writer and the woman
soon gets a job at a local library. When her
writer boyfriend leaves her everything starts
falling apart for her. Yeah, that's basically
the story.

"The scariest horror film since The Shining" is
the tagline for this movie. Well it might have
ripped off a couple of things from The Shining,
like the first half of the story for example,
but it sure isn’t the scariest thing since. In
fact, I believe "Spongebob Squarepants" was more
of a horror movie than this! Lions Gate has once
again managed to rip us off with a promising
cover art and a completely worthless movie. I'm
guessing that their DTV horror titles still do
pretty good money though since this was released
under the category "horror" but in fact this is
hardly even a chilling drama.
The acting in this movie is absolutely worthless
and even if it is a no-budget horror movie one
would still expect better actors than the ones
that were in this flick. The directing is also
beyond abysmal, it looks like a homemade movie
shot in approximately two days (even though I'm
positive that I could have shot this flick with
some friends in less than one day). It just
makes me sad that movies like this even get made
but what's even sadder is when a big profitable
company like Lions Gate distributes it.
I'll have to put a snooze-warning on this flick
as there is not one moment of brightness or
potential in this entire movie. There is nothing
going on at all and even if the movie only
lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes you will still
have managed to forget the entire movie before
you've even completed watching it (even though
I'm pretty sure not many other people will be
able to sit through this flick until the end
credits). Avoid this rubbish!

No gore at all!

Extremely frustrating thumping subwoofer sounds
without any music at all!

Holy hell was this a bad movie! I mean, even if
it wasn't a horror movie in any aspect, this
still could have been a decent drama but it
wasn't even that! Would Lions Gate cut this
out and start releasing some quality DTV horror
flicks instead? Or at least release horror
flicks that actually have some kind of tension
or gore in them?
