Simon works as a computer programmer. He spends
his entire days inside his apartment and he
seems pretty pleased with it but one day he finds
an empty package inside his apartment, he throws
it away but the next day he receives another one
and as paranoia grows inside his head he starts
realizing that there aren't many people he can
trust anymore... who's sending him these weird
packages and why?

I am stunned! My first impression when I started
watching this flick was that it was probably going
to be a dull thriller with a weak plot but the
plot thickens quickly and turns into a living
nightmare for Simon. The plot is so cleverly
developed that it really gets under your skin.
You, along with Simon have a hard time figuring
out who to trust. The plot takes so many turns
that you keep getting sucked in deeper and deeper
into the movie and in the end you come out with
an expressionless face. There are simply no words.

The cast is strong and many big names are to be
found. Jeremy Sisto is the key ingredient to why
this movie is so brilliant. Without him this could
never have been done in the way that it was. Some
other famous faces we see in here are Udo Kier,
Lance Henriksen, Bruce Payne and Eugene Byrd, now
that's what I call a waterproof cast. The
directing is average, the most disappointing
part about the movie probably, could have been
handled so much better and this is in fact the
only reason to why it doesn't get a perfect 5
in rating. The DVD I saw was in fullscreen though
but I'm guessing that didn't matter very much.

For fans of movies like Cube, this is a must have
in your DVD collection. It's a complex, original
and well written movie that will make you both
paranoid and happy since the dark plot is broken
with a couple of jokes here and there. Usually
I hate when jokes are thrown into the movie but
this movie really did need some funny moments or
we would drown in depression and paranoia. It's
a dark movie and might not be everyone's cup of
tea but I definitely recommend this one.

Not a lot of blood but we do get some blood
splatter and we also get to see a guy with his
head opened wide so that we see his brain.

The soundtrack is pretty good and also very
original. The entire score basically consists
of experimental techno music, don't worry,
it's nothing like techno that's just what it's
called. Good soundtrack anyway.

I hate it when good flicks like these never get
to come up on the big screen. This one surely
deserves it. If it wasn't for the average
directing this would have been a clear fiver
but I thought that it had its slow moments
and the directing didn't help. However, it's
a brilliant flick so don't miss this one!
