The IMDB's plot description for this is "The
nightmare isn't over, General Cain ordered The Hive
to be reopened, and in doing so contaminated all
of Raccoon City, a city of the dead, with Alice
stuck right in the middle. Now, along with other
survivors, Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliviera and his
Captain, Nicholai, they must fight to survive, to
escape the nightmare that has plaqed Raccoon City.
But now there is a new threat: Matt Addison has
fully mutated into a seemingly unstoppable creature,
code named Nemesis, who will stop at nothing until
everything around it is dead, but it also has
another agenda...". So to sum it up; a bunch of
people shoot at zombies through an entire movie.

Rated R!? You're telling me that this was actually
rated R!? To me it seems as if this movie was made
for 15 year old "doods". This movie's just filled
with things that could just as well have been taken
right out of the abysmal zombie flick "House Of The
Dead". To name some things, the movie consists of
constant shooting with different weapons, it's also
filled with explosions and sound effects. Now, so
far it sounds all right, right? Well, we also get
to see a woman fly through a church window with a
motorcycle, just in time to kill a zombie after the
people inside the church have ran out of ammo and
as if that wasn't enough we also get to see bullets
going in slow motion through the air and hot women
run around with guns while all the guys die.

Despite the fact that there's no plot, this movie's
still filled with plot holes. There's one scene that
I really didn't understand at all and that's when
zombies wake up from a graveyard, now how the hell
did they get infected anyway? I mean, they were
already dead, or were they really already mutated
and had covered themselves up with dirt? I don't
get it. I've only played the game once or twice and
it was really good I have to say and even if I'm
not that big of a fan of the first Resident Evil
movie, I can still confess that I liked it more than
most people seem to have done.

If you thought that Milla didn't get much of a
character to work with in the first one, I can tell
you that this movie doesn't exactly give her any
further characterisation. This time all she does
is run around and shoot, much like everyone else in
the movie who's not playing a zombie, such a waste
of talent. I'm thinking that if the third Resident
Evil movie ever does get made, it'll probably do
a lot worse in the box office than this did. I'm
not even sure how this was able to attract such
a big audience as it did. Surely no one will want
to sit through this rubbish twice, right?

What the...? You're telling me all we get is a guy
who gets a knife in his forehead and some people get
bit in the throat, you have got to be kidding me,
why not just rate it PG-13 and pull in some extra
couple of bucks.

Well, the soundtrack is good by all means, but it's
drowned by the constant shooting with machineguns
so you won't be able to enjoy it.

Just like House Of The Dead this is one movie that
you just have to watch for the sound effects, don't
watch it on your regular TV, go see it in theatres
or wait until the DVD is released with what I can
only assume will be a DTS track. Just don't expect
a good movie, because unless you liked House Of The
Dead or you're a really big fan of the game, I'm
pretty sure you won't find much pleasure
in watching this.
