Billy, a rock star, goes on a killing rampage and ends
up in the electric chair. One year later, it seems as
if Billy has returned to kill off the rest of the
band members from his band. Is it really Billy, I mean
he's dead and all, or is it someone else who's got
a screw loose.

Rocktober Blood starts out relatively promising but
the entire story could've been told in less than 2
minutes, and get this, 50% of the movie is shot in
a cabin in the woods, what's so rock star about that?
I'll be honest with you, I have absolutely no idea
what to write about this flick. I mean, the story
is so slow that you feel like killing yourself at times,
the acting is horrible and the directing is pretty
bad as well. There's really not much more to say
but I'll try to point out all the bad things and
positive things about the movie anyway since I know
some of you have been dying for me to review this.
The bad stuff; the movie is incredibly slow. The
killer is pathetic (though pretty attractive). The
female lead gets on your nerves. Even though the
female lead tries to constantly convince everyone
that Billy's alive, no one believes her, and it
gets really worn out after a while and you just wish
that they would believe her so that the movie could
finish all ready. The acting is absolutely horrible.
There are so many flaws in the movie that it would
take ages to list them all, but one of the most
obvious ones is where three people dig up a grave
to check if Billy's really dead and there's a snake
crawling on his skull, don't these people know that
snakes don't live in the dirt? And even if they did,
how the hell would it have gotten into the closed
coffin which by the way looks brand new?
The good stuff; well, hmmm, ehmmm, I guess the music
is quite all right, and the killer is pretty attractive.
The movie might be awful but it does have its moments
which makes me give it a rating of 1/5. That's pretty
much about it.

A slit throat is the goriest thing we get in this.

The 80's rock music is pretty all right even if far
from good, but I'm guessing that I would have liked
it back in the 80's.

Rocktober Blood might as well have been entitled
"Rocktober without any blood" since there's very
little gore in this. The movie is ultimately dull
and very uneven with bad acting and bad directing.
Do not watch this one, it's definitely not a good
slasher flick.
