After attempting a dangerous jump with a moped, Zeke
winds up in the hospital with a concussion. But when
his friends go to check up on him, the doctor's tell
them that he died. Well, they won't have any of this
and decide to go find him believing that he's still
alive. That may be so, but they will also find a bunch
of people who aren't alive... but far from dead!

I actually haven't seen the previous two sequels for
the Return Of The Living Dead so I wasn't really
anticipating these new ones. Even so, with a faded
positive memory of the first movie, I decided to
check this out. I shouldn't have. This turned out
to be an incredibly unoriginal low budget zombie
flick with very low entertainment factor.
The story involves a bunch of teenagers who are
determined to rescue their "dead" friend from an
experiment performed by an evil corporation but
end up releasing a bunch of flesh-eating zombies
as well. Sadly for us, the zombies aren't released
until 50 minutes into the movie, leaving us with
50 minutes of nonsense and 30 minutes of nonsense
with some zombie gore.
The acting is actually impressively bad, I had at
least expected an all right performance from Peter
Coyote but even he gave us a weak performance. The
directing is very average and I did feel as if the
movie could have been easily spiced up with some
faster moving camerawork.
When 28 Days Later was released a couple of years
back, I was really excited that it made so much money.
Now, I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe this zombie
trend wouldn't have started if that movie flopped.
This is sadly not the worst zombie movie that I've
seen over the past few years and it did have some
decent zombie gore in it so I'm not going to give
it a terrible rating because zombie movies these
days don't seem to get a whole lot better than this.

We get a couple of heads bit open, a guy gets torn
in half, we also get an exploded head and a whole
lot of zombie shooting.

The soundtrack basically just consist of hard rock
music, which suits the movie pretty well.

Terrible zombie sequel and I didn't really see the
point in making more sequels for this series? This
was a very slow paced movie and I'm really getting
sick of the entire zombie concept, we've seen it,
it's been done to death, time to move on.
