A serial killer is on the loose in San Fransisco and
the police haven't got a clue who's behind the recent
string of murders. They get help from a news reporter
who has recently started to receive strange letters
from the serial killer, but why is she receiving these
letters? What does he want with her? And more importantly,
will the police be able to catch him before another
victim gets killed.

Zachary Winston Snygg, Ulli Lommel and The Quiroz
Brothers are currently puking out the most awful of
awful DTV horror movies. Every time a movie comes out
from one of these directors, I just know that it's
going to be bad, but there's no way to prepare yourself
for just how bad it's going to be. San Franpsycho is
the latest horror flick from the Quiroz Brothers and
if you thought that "The Damned" or "Hood Of The Living
Dead" was bad, just wait until you've seen this one.

San Franpsycho sets a new low for Ed & Jose Quiroz,
something which I didn't think was possible. It's a
106 minute long serial killer thriller (that's right,
106 atrocious minutes) about a ridiculously beefy
psychopath in San Fransisco who's targeting people
who's gotten divorced. The cops are clueless as to who
he is (even if he's not exactly subtle while stalking
his victims in scenes that seem to go on for forever).
Luckily, the cops find help from a female news reporter
who has been receiving obscure letters from the killer.
Why? Well, apparently he's in love with her and gets
turned on when she talks about him in the news (he even
jerks off while watching it).

The story doesn't go much further than that, and there
was no reason for dragging this movie on for 106 minutes.
I swear, this has got to be the most slow-paced movie
ever. Every scene feels ridiculously drawn out and
most of the dialogue is superfluous and doesn't add
anything to the story. To make things worse, the serial
killer doesn't really kill many people, most of the
movie basically revolves around two cops discussing how
fucked up the killer is.

As expected, the acting is atrocious and I don't know
how Joe Estevez keeps landing starring roles (even in
low-budget movies). And since this is in fact a Quiroz
Brothers film, the characters are naturally all very
unlikable (something which is common in these guys
films). I won't go on any further since I don't want
my review to be as drawn-out and dull as the movie
was, but take my word for it, this movie is just about
as bad as they get. I can't believe I made it through
the whole thing without falling asleep. Avoid this
like the plague people!

Nothing worth mentioning.

The cheap midi beats can be heard constantly throughout
the movie which really makes things even worse. Had it
not been for the horrible score, it might have been
watchable... Haha, who am I kidding right?

Every time I think that the Quiroz Brothers can only
get better, they stoop to a new low and produce an
even more atrocious movie than their last one. I can't
believe their movies still find distribution. Shame
on the distributors who pick their movies up. Avoid
at all cost people, this is about as bad as it gets.
