Young Douglas has become obsessed with a videogame
called Satan’s Little Helper and since it's Halloween
he wants to go find Satan along with his bigger
sister. But when his sister brings a new boyfriend
home, Doug decides to search for Satan by himself.
What he didn't expect was to succeed in finding him.
Without realizing it, Douglas is helping a vicious
serial killer slaughter lots of innocent people,
but who's really hiding behind that mask?

I am stunned. This low budget horror flick, which I
originally didn't have much faith in swept me off
my feet. This was pure brilliance. Satan’s Little
Helper is an original and twisted tale which
technically is a slasher but a real horror fan
would never refer to this as a slasher as it is
just too original. The story is smart and not too
ludicrous, I mean, we do live in a strange and
sick world and I read more unbelievable things in
the newspaper every week. The movie fails to
ever become really scary though they do succeed
in making us laugh a couple of times. And best
of all, the laughs WERE intended.
The acting was great and I think Amanda Plummer
really gave it everything that she had, though,
she seems to do this in every movie she's in.
The directing is also pretty slick and the photo
is so damn good that you don't even get the
feeling for once that it's a low budget flick.
The fact that the boy believed that everything
was just for fun made it work on so many levels
so I also admire the script writer for coming
up with this story.
The only problems that the movie has is that it
repeats itself a bit too much and when we finally
get to the end of the movie, we're left very
disappointed as we never even get to know who
the killer is. Still this is an excellent horror
flick which took me by surprise and while it
might not be for everyone, I'm still convinced
that this will score great reviews among horror
movie reviewers for as a horror fan you can't
help loving this.

A couple of slit throats, some gory intestines
ripped out and a whole lot more.

The soundtrack was obviously inspired by the
Halloween theme and works brilliantly to set the
right atmosphere without feeling too unoriginal.

While this isn't a flick for everyone, it's still
one hell of a horror flick and I think that every
horror fan will love this, especially if you like
gore and a cool slasher. It's not really a slasher
but slasher fans will still love it as it still
falls under that category.
