Adam wakes up in a bathtub in an old bathroom.
His ankle is changed to a pipe. In the middle of
the room lies a dead man and on the other side
of the room lies another man, after further questioning
it turns out that the man on the other side of the
room is a doctor who also has no idea of where they
are and how they got there. The doctor starts
telling Adam about this killer called the jigsaw
killer that the police never caught. Apparently
it seems as if it's the same killer who's holding
these two men hostage. But is there any way out?
And if so, how much is life worth?

I don't know how long I've been wanting to see this
anticipated horror flick and after a while I've
started to get a little suspicious. I mean, is it
possible that there can actually be a movie that
everyone loves? Even the critics? Well, I guess it
is. At the beginning Saw did not live up to my
expectations, like at all. I thought to myself that
it was a good movie and all, but nothing out of
the ordinary. When about 50 minutes of the movie
had gone by things started happening though and
it took just the turn it needed in just the right
time. It became disturbing, gory and dramatic.
Just like I had expected it to be, and even more so.

At first sight the acting looks rather average but
if you analyze these characters a little deeper you
start to realize that you never even gave a thought
to that these people were really just acting. Adam
was Adam, the doctor was the doctor and I think
that's why you felt so much for them and everything
that happened to them. Great work between the
director and the cast there. The director is brilliant
as well. There seems to be some thought put into
every angle that he uses and it's simply brilliant.

People that compare "Saw" to "Seven" mustn't have
seen "Seven". These are two very different movies
with very different stories. A police and a serial
killer are the only real things that the two
movies have in common, and come on, then I might
as well compare this to "Scream". The movie does
have its week points though. The movie tries to
be a little bit too clever for its own good, some
of the twists don't make a lot of sense. There
are also some back stories that adds nothing to
the movie whatsoever. But when the movie's over
I can almost guarantee that you won't be leaving
disappointed. It's simply impossible to hate
this movie and I think everyone can agree with
me on that one.

Well, I did think that it would be gorier but
among the goriest things are; a guy getting his
throat slashed and someone pulling intestines
out of ones stomach.

I got an email the other day from someone who
claimed that they've helped making the soundtrack
for Saw. Well, what soundtrack? There was a
little bit of rock music and some minor background
music (the same music that you can hear in the
trailers for the movie) but that was basically
it, it works pretty well though.

Yeah. I do. I do love this movie. I didn't think
I would but I've been proven wrong, sometimes
movies with a good hype actually end up really
good, though most of them end up like FearDotCom.
Oh and sorry for bringing that movie up I'm
sure you're all doing your best forgetting about
that tragedy still. Anyway, it's an excellent
movie so you should definitely check this one out,
this is definitely the horror movie of 2004.
