A woman
ends up in a coma after a quarrel with
her boyfriend. A couple of months later, some
hot teens move into the house where the accident
occurred, only to realize that the spirit of the
woman in a coma is surrounding the house and is
killing off anyone that she doesn't like.

The entertainment channel E! apparently had a
reality show called "Kill Reality" last year,
which I missed. The show revolved around a couple
of reality-TV stars trying to star in a cheesy
horror flick - The Scorned is the result of what
they did, and man, this is cheesy.
This is the kind of movie that other horror
movies and comedies make fun of, in other words,
this would be a perfect movie within a movie.
Not only is the cheesy slasher plot abysmal, but
so is the acting, directing and special effects.
The Scorned proves to us that reality-TV stars
weren't made for acting.
If you didn't get it, this is basically a ghost
slasher flick where the glowing, blue spirit of
an angry woman flies around killing people at
random in a beach house. Now if that doesn't
sound cheesy to you, I don't know what would.
I know there's talks about a season two of Kill
Reality and I really hope that they replace the
ridiculous ghost with a masked killer or
something like that because this was too campy
if you ask me - and I'm not a big fan of campiness.
Perhaps this might be entertaining for people
who love reality-TV shows but for people like me,
who lives outside America and gets other versions
of these series with a different cast, this isn't
too exciting. In fact, I only recognized one
person in this flick. It's a fun idea though so
I'm definitely going to catch the second season.

I saw the TV-version and the DVD version is called
"Unrated" so I don't know if I got all the goods
but what I got was a slit throat and an all right
impalement, nothing special ask you me.

Standard stuff, as expected.

The TV-show might have been a fun idea but the
end result is unfortunately anything but impressive
with a terrible cast and a very cheesy story.
It both looks and feels like a bad episode of
Sunset Beach but it does have its moments so if
you're a fan of reality-TV shows, check it out.
