A school bus filled with hot students, mainly
girls, has just arrived at a nice resort in the
middle of nowhere. Naturally there are many
conflicts among the girls and it doesn't help
when a masked killer shows up and starts to set
up deadly traps everywhere for the teens. Who
could possibly be the killer?

Well what an original title - I thought to myself
when I found this in an online Thai DVD store.
I'm suspecting that this terrible low-budget
slasher flick will be the first among a row of
slasher flicks coming out of Thailand in the near
future after the success of "Scared" earlier this
year. If you expect this movie to be a Scream
rip-off, considering the title, you're wrong, it's
a complete rip-off of Scared.

As soon as the logo for Right Beyond Entertainment
showed up, I knew that I was doomed. Right Beyond
is responsible for most of the rubbish that we
find in the Thai horror industry. Since Scared
was just released in November, this must have been
a really rushed production seeing as how this hit
the market only 3 months later. Impossible? Nope,
after you've seen this movie you know that it is
in fact possible since there is very little story
and it looks like the entire thing was shot in
a very short period of time - maybe even in less
than a week.

Scream is a very unpleasant journey since the
movie is way too long and the killings begin way
too late. The little gore that we do get is
very unimpressive and it feels like there was
very little effort put into making the special
effects look real. I know better than to check
out Thai DTV horror movies by now but I just
couldn't resist this slasher. I urge you to do
so though as this is not worth spending any time,
or money on for that matter.

A couple of unimpressive impalements and some
slashings with cheesy sound effects.

The soundtrack has basically been cut and paste
out of several famous horror flicks. There is not
one melody in here that won't feel familiar.

Unoriginal and effortless slasher flick which
obviously tries to cash in on the success of
"Scared". I do hope that it succeeds however as
it would be nice to see more slashers from Thailand
in the future. I mean, it doesn't look like we
are facing another American slasher wave any time
soon so it's up to someone else to provide us
with the goods for some time now.
