Stab has just opened in theatres all over the country.
The movie is based on the murders from the first Scream
movie and everyone is dying to see it. Soon enough a
killer shows up and starts to make his own sequel, will
anyone survive this time or is Sidney and her friends
all out of luck?

Wes Craven returns in this sequel for the hit movie
Scream, something which is quite rare in horror movie
sequels, but I guess he simply didn't want some rookie
to screw up his masterpiece. Scream 2 is probably just
about the best that they could have done as far as
sequels go since it would be impossible to make a sequel
as good as the first flick. The story is pretty much
the same as in the first one, masked killer slashes
innocent teens, but the strange thing is that this is
actually less gory than the first one, I thought it was
supposed to be the other way around? Either way, this
is not something that I consider a problem, it's just
something that I picked up on.

Courteney Cox, Neve Campbell and the gang are still at
it and seem to be giving us everything they have. It
was also nice to see a couple of people from other
slasher flicks of the late 90s slasher wave in this
like Sarah Michelle Gellar (I Know What You Did Last
Summer) and Rebecca Gayheart (Urban Legend). Wes Craven
is still a brilliant director and does everything he
can to avoid making this a forgettable sequel. It's
obvious that he wanted the audience to love this just
as much as the first one since it's pretty much just
a continuation of the first flick.

Scream 2 doesn't succeed in being quite as brilliant as
the first movie but this is still a very worthy sequel
and even though it's over 100 minutes long, we are never
bored and the suspense keeps us sitting in our seats.
I'm betting my money on that almost everyone who reads
this review has all ready seen this flick but if you
haven't, what the hell are you waiting for? It's never
too late to watch a mainstream, popular slasher flick,
this is simply one that you can not miss under any
circumstances, there are no excuses!

A pipe through ones head and a slit throat is the best
that this effects team can do, not very gory.

The choir music is crystal clear and very nice for your
ears, as is the pop music. Brilliant soundtrack just as
one would expect.

It might not surpass the first movie but it's still a
great movie and I'm assuming most of you agree with me
on that. This is a slasher flick that you can not miss
so if you still haven't gotten around to see it, pick
up the DVD now because this will be a cult movie, even
though it's a sequel.
