A girl who's been blind since she was a child has a cornea
transplant so that she will be able to see again. Everything
seems fine until she realises that not only is she able to
see regular people, she's able to see dead people aswell.
Now she has to find out how to get rid of these horrible
visions and from where her new eyes really came from.
Let me start
off by saying that this is my all time favourite
horrormovie. I watch a lot of horrormovies and I'm rarely
frightened, this sent shivers down my spine maybe 500 times.
You might think that this sounds like a Sixth Sense rip-off.
Well, it does resemble to it, but this is a 100 times better.
For once, Sixth Sense was made for teens, this was made for
the mature audience.
It's weird how I tend to like Asian horrormovies more than
American these days, I guess they're just creepier in some way.
For example, Ringu still scares the living shit out of me while
the remake didn't even frighten me once. This is by far the most
valuable DVD in my collection and I wouldn't trade it for any
other movie. The UK DVD release is absolutely fabulous and has
many cool extras, for example, it opens with some extended
material that wasn't used on the Hong Kong DVD release. It's
such a shame that Asian DVD’s almost never include any extras,
or I would buy a whole lot more of them, god knows that the best
horrormovies come from there.
Not only is this the best movie I have ever seen, but the
directing is also the best that I have ever seen. The pang
brothers have done a terrific job, and they have also been
rewarded with great feedback at film festivals. This was a very
big movie in all of Asia and pulled in a great deal of money
at the cinemas.
Many people probably think that Asian movies are hard to watch
as everyone looks quite similar and it's hard to tell people
apart, I know I had that problem when I started watching Asian
horrormovies. But this movie has actors who look very different
from eachother and there are only a few people involved and I
don't think that it will be too hard to tell an old woman and
a young girl apart right?
I was disappointed to hear that Hollywood is going to ruin this
film aswell. In America it will just look like a Sixth Sense
rip-off and nobody will care to watch the original. This is a very
powerful and emotional horrormovie and you can tell that a great
deal of effort was put into making this movie. Borrowing elements
from other great movies like Sixth Sense, Mothman Prophecies and
Final Destination, this comes out to be, in my opinion, the
greatest and scariest horrormovie of all time.

Only some burnt bodies, nothing special. This film doesn't play
on that level, this is a psychological horrorfilm.

This is so incredibly eerie. We get everything from emotional and
scary piano music to violin strings. Then we also get some very
powerful drums playing out loudly. This is another thing that
works incredibly well for the movie and couldn't have been any
better than what it was.

My favourite movie of all time, this doesn’t get slower towards
the end, this gets scarier and scarier for every second you watch
it. Be aware of that this might give you nightmares for the rest
of your life though. Never have I seen such a scary movie before,
this is one of those movies that you watch about 15 times before
laying it to rest.
