A couple of friends go to a Turkish bath to buy some
drugs. What they don't know is that a vicious serial
killer is waiting for them, and he's got a meat cleaver.
Will anyone survive or will they all be killed by the
mysterious killer dressed in black.

TT Syndrome is the first horror movie made in the
former republic of Yugoslavia and is this a gory
one or what. Believe it or not, I've actually had
this DVD on my shelf for over two years time and
I don't know why but I never bothered to see it.
Since I was in the mood for a slasher flick I decided
to finally check this one out and even if it's not
a great movie, I'm still glad that I did. This was
a gore filled horror movie which was actually pretty
entertaining.
You can tell that the movie was made with a very
low budget since the colours are terrible. The movie
has a green-yellowish layer over it and the picture
quality is horrid even if the DVD was presented in
anamorphic widescreen. The thing that bothered me
most however was the constant hissing in the
background making it almost impossible to tell
what the actors are saying at times. Speaking of
actors, I'm pretty impressed with the acting skills
in this one seeing as how everyone who was involved
in this film did it for the sheer fun of it and not
for the money.
I've heard many bad things about this movie and I
have to say that it's not as bad as people like to
make it out to be. It's actually rather entertaining.
The movie however feels like it's a bit too long for
its own good even if it was cut down by almost 30
minutes. But seeing as how this is the first movie
produced in Serbo-Croatian I'm still pretty
impressed with this movie.

This is definitely one for the gore hounds! We get
intestines ripped out, dismembered hands, a meat
cleaver in the head, a gory hand dismemberment and
a whole lot more! Awesome special effects!

Nothing special, just a lot of annoying hissing in
the background.

TT Syndrome is far from great but still not as bad
as some people make it out to be. I was actually
rather impressed with the movie and I think that
any gore hound should have this one in their DVD
collection. Only worth checking out for the gore.
