A couple of friends meet up at a cabin for their
annual reunion even though one of the friend's brother
died there in a tragic accident one year ago. Well,
at first everything seems all right, but soon enough,
the friends start disappearing, one by one. Who, or
what is killing off the friends?

Let me start off by telling you what you're in for.
The two cabins that the friends are staying at are
called "Camp Paradise" even though it's clearly not
a camp, I mean, it's not even close to a lake. And
get this, in some countries the movie goes under the
alternative title "Nightmare High" even though there's '
not a school in the entire movie, so I'm guessing
that some of the cast was on drugs during the
production since I see no other reason to why this
movie would be called "Nightmare High". Now, if that
didn't scare you off, let's begin the review.

Twisted Nightmare involves a couple of friends who
get offed by a mysterious man-creature. This story
has been done lots of times before and I have yet
to see a single good man-creature slasher flick as
far as I can remember. The acting is a mixed bag
with some awful acting and some pretty good acting
skills. The movie is however very dark for most of
the time so all these actors really need to do is
talk since you can hardly see what's going on anyway.

The movie is just like a lot of other forgotten 80s
slashers, very slow and very dull and never really
seems to get anywhere, I didn't find myself being
interested in the plot for as much as one second.
So why the rating of one? Well, to be honest, I don't
know. I guess I've seen so many awful horror flicks
in my days that this flick felt all right compared
to some other movies I've seen. The bodycount is
fairly high and the killer is pretty cool when you
finally do get to see him. That's still no reason
to why you should see this movie as it is not
entertaining or satisfying in any way.

Since it was so dark, I could hardly see what was
going on but I think we get an arm dismemberment and
a slit throat, perhaps some more as well but it was
too damn dark to tell.

Awful 80s rock music, definitely not timeless tracks.
This soundtrack has expired in every possible way and
I'm guessing that I wouldn't have been to impressed
if I saw this back when it was made either.

Slow and uninteresting slasher flick which resembles
a bit of "Night Of The Demon". Unfortunately, neither
of these two flicks managed to impress me and I will
definitely advice you to stop hunting for this
slasher flick as it isn't entertaining in any way.
