Jennifer has a perfect life. She's got a great job,
a great husband and she just got pregnant. What
she doesn't know is that she's got an evil twin
sister called Norah, and Norah is fed up with her
crap life. So why start a new one when she can
have Jennifer’s? Norah decides to start castrating
men at random and frame Jennifer for the murders,
but will her plan succeed?

I really didn't expect this to be any good seeing
as how I usually don't like movies where crazy
women go on a killing rampage (unless they're
slashers of course). But Twisted Sisters really
surprised me. Sure, the plot is very unoriginal
and I'll be damned if I haven't seen this exact
same story before in some other movie but the
over-the-top death scenes and the execution of
the story made this one stand out.

Jennifer has an evil twin sister that she doesn't
know about called Norah. Norah has a fetish for
cutting off guys penises. The cop knows nothing
of Norah and starts to suspect that Jennifer is
behind these murders. Well, you can probably tell
where the movie's going but this Norah chick isn't
just crazy, she is completely fucked up (pardon my
language but that's the only way to describe her).
This is a movie which is just painful for men to
watch because most of us can relate to the pain
that Norah is causing her victims. Even though some
effects are pretty bad, the death scenes are so
inovative that you don't really care.

Actress Fiona Horsey and director Wolfgang Büld
make a good team. They previously worked on movies
like Lovesick and Penetration Angst together and
it's obvious that Fiona is very comfortable with
Wolfgang behind the camera. She really gives us
a great performance and it really feels as if
Norah and Jennifer are two completely different
persons even though they're both played by Fiona.

I guess movies like these are bound to come from
a country like Germany where they don't censor
things as much as in the US and I can't wait to
see what Wolfgang Büld throws together next.
German gore-flicks aren't of my preference usually
but I think that both gore hounds and horror fans
will be able to enjoy this movie so give it a chance,
you might be surprised (I know I was).

The death scenes are very brutal and gory but I'm
going to be a bit mean and not give away any
details on the gore because that would ruin a lot
of the movies charm.

Nothing special really, very quiet score.

Surprisingly entertaining gore flick from Germany.
It's not one of those cheesy "demonic women on
a killing rampage" movies, it's actually got some
class. The script is tight and clever and even
though it's not a very original movie, it's just
executed well enough to still be enjoyable. Check
this one out, if not for the story but for the
over-the-top death scenes.
