Six girls life’s are broadcasted 24/7 on the website "Watch
Us Dorm". All the girls live together and enjoy living in
luxury but when two of the girls die in freak accidents, the
peace in the house is broken. The owner of the site decides
to keep the site up as if nothing has happened and brings a
new girl into the house. It doesn't take long before the new
girl realises that by entering the house, she might just have
risked her own life.
This movie brings your thoughts to the still unreleased slasher
"TheCampusHouse.Com" and the cover makes the movie look like
a softcore porno so there's really nothing attractive about
the movie. I mean, haven't we all had enough of reality-TV
softcore slashers? Well I have to say that even if I was kind
of right, I was still pleasantly surprised. It's not nearly
as softcore porno as I thought it would be, actually I think
there were only two nudity scenes in the entire movie. Also,
the killers mask was just excellent.
For once almost all of the girls in an all girl slasher look
somewhat good. And get this, they can act! Well, at least
better than what we're used to in these kind of movies. I can't
get past the fact that they all looked like cheap porno actors
though. Keith W. Strandberg has directed this lowbudget slasher
quite well. You can tell that it was obviously lowbudget but
it's definitely not bad. There are a few scenes where I felt
that the camera could have been held more steady and such but
other than that it was pretty descent.
WatchUsDie.com is certainly no masterpiece but it's not nearly
as bad as people have made it out to be. I was annoyed that
the mask was only used for like 3 or 4 killings since it was
such an awesome mask. They could have done a lot more with
this movie than what they did. Another thing that was frustrating
was the fact that you could predict who the killer was from the
moment you were introduced to everyone. I might aswell mention
that the ending was terrible since I'm mentioning all the bad
things about the movie. I however kind of dug the rest of the
movie in some way, even if I knew deep down that it was quite
bad. I guess that's what low expectations can do for you.
A slit throat is the goriest thing we get here.
Some cheesy eurotechno and rock pop music fills this movie's
score. I didn't think the soundtrack was very good in other
words but on the other hand, I didn't expect it to be good either.
Average slasher which basically takes the concept from "Voyeur.Com"
and improves it a bit. Obviously we got some lesbianism since it
was almost an all girl cast but the cheese factor was so high
through the entire movie that it didn't really bother you. This
is only a film for slasherfans like me so if you're one of them,
go grab this now.
