Brett Bumpers (Michael Weston) is a high school geek who's in love
with beautiful Samantha (Alexandra Holden). One day he receives a
package which includes a letter and a bull dick, the letter says
that he has been granted three wishes but that he should be careful
what he wishes for, and so he wishes for Samantha to fall in love
with him... Everything's great, except that people start turning
up dead!

When I first heard of this I thought 'Oh yay! A new slasher flick!',
still I was very skeptic as most unknown slashers these days are quite
poor. When I finally got to see this movie I was stunned! This is
one of the best slasher movies I have ever seen, if not even the best.
The acting is brilliant, the directing is... well, it couldn't have
been made better, it's a slasherflick for crying out loud. The bodycount
is totally ok, although, it's almost only guys that get killed.

This movie mixes wishmaster with scream, still it comes out a lot better
than both of them. I am quite surprised that this hasn't been released
in USA yet, considering it's been released in almost all of Europe,
in France it even got a cinema release, even though it only made
approximatly one million us dollars and entered as no. 14... The movie
does not even give a hint that it is low budget, the murders are
clever and original, the suspense is really high during most of the movie,
and again, the acting is just superb.

The dvd cover for this movie is far from original, but this is not a movie
you judge by the cover, well, yes, it is a slasher... BUT it also works
as a romantic comedy, now, this is a first, I know for sure. I've seen
this three times now, and still I unintentionally smile at the end.
I say, don't wait until the US dvd gets released, cause you never know
when that's gonna be as it hasn't even got a distributor yet (although
I highly suspect that Artisan will pick this one up), order the UK DVD
from www.blackstar.co.uk now! It's worth it!

Mmm, it's mainly not very gory, but we do get some gore... Some bloody
knife stabbings, a sword through a stomach, a decapitated head (which
by the way looks incredibly real), an axe in the head, some sharp object
through ones eye and a sword through the neck.

Nothing special, but it really works, pop, modern rock, drum'n'bass,
eerie strings, pling plong halloween music and some slow music makes
this movie go forward.

EVERYONE BUY THIS NOW!!! Especially slasherfans, nothing for the Fulci
or Argento fan, but for you who like hip trendy movies or if you have
an open mind, this really is the movie for you, hell, I loved it anyway!
