After over 30 years, the vicious serial killer "The
Zodiac" is back once again to kill everyone who
disrespects the elderly. Will the cops be able to
stop him this time or is the Zodiac Killer back to
stay? Meanwhile, a novelist is writing a book about
the killer, but just how close will he get?

Recently, I've learned to avoid getting expectations
for Lions Gates DTV horror releases so for once I was
actually right not to get tricked by a cool DVD cover.
Ulli Lommel is responsible for this horror thriller and
it's pretty obvious as well since we get to see many
clips from his previous horror movies like "The Bogey
Man" from the 80s. I really wouldn't like to call this
a horror movie however since the Zodiac Killer actually
kills almost all of his victims with a gun in this movie.
Come on, how hard is it to just grab a kitchen knife
to create some suspense.
The movie focuses on the killer, much like the movies
Ted Bundy and Dahmer etc. The thing is, while most of
the other serial killer movies had realistic killers,
The Zodiac Killer never feels realistic at all, he's
way too made-up. The acting is poor and there is no
one to root for, nothing to keep you interested and
nothing to keep you from pressing the stop button on
your DVD player. It's a shame that Ulli Lommel has lost
his touch because "The Bogey Man" really is a true
classic in my eyes. Everything about this movie is very
ludicrous with no witnesses and no clues for the police
to follow. The killer doesn't even wear a mask so how
hard would it really be to catch him?
No matter how bad this movie might be, you will still
be able to get a couple of laughs from it. Like the
awful reporter at the TV channel "GNN". Still, this
is no reason to why you should check out this movie.
Don't expect this to be like any other serial killer
movie because it's not so take my advice and leave
this movie alone, it's just not worth the time.

Only some gory photographs shown on a computer screen.

A lot of cheesy piano music, come to think of it, all
the music in this was very cheesy. I have nothing good
to say about this flick at all really.

This is an absolutely terrible movie and when I give it
a rating of 1 I'm being nice. I have seen movies that
were a whole lot worse but I highly advice you not to
see this movie. It's not your typical serial killer
flick, it's much more ludicrous and much less interesting.
