The government
is trying to genetically mutate people
into becoming unstoppable killing machines, but when the
experiment goes wrong, the infection spreads to a small
strip joint where the strippers are loving their new
undead life - and the audience isn't complaining either.
As the strip club gets increasingly popular, no one
seems to notice that the strippers finish each dance
with eating one of the audience members, but it doesn't
take long before things get out of hand.

For whatever reason, it seems as if Zombie Strippers
has become one of the most hyped zombie flicks of the
year. I'm not really sure why because the whole concept
is really cheesy if you ask me, BUT to my surprise
I actually found this campy little zombie flick to be
rather entertaining. It's got its ups and downs but
at least it's not another generic zombie flick. Sure
to satisfy its core audience, Zombie Strippers gives
you exactly what it promises - zombie strippers. We
get A LOT of nudity - more so than in many porno’s
actually. We get a ridiculous amount of gore. And as
a little icing on the cake we have a cast filled with
familiar faces such as Jenna Jameson and Robert Englund.
I'm actually surprised that someone dared to invest
this much money into a project like Zombie Strippers
because this ain't no Automaton Transfusion (in other
words, home made zombie flick), this looked high budget
enough for a wide theatrical release. Naturally this
would've never happened but still, it's hard to believe
that this was produced by the same company that made
the low-budget zombie flick "The Slaughter". Anyhoo,
the plot of the movie is pretty thin. Actually, the
title of the movie describes the entire plot quite well
if you ask me. Jenna Jameson jumps around naked and
covered with blood on a stage while a crowd filled with
horny men cheer her on. There's not a whole lot more
to it. Anyway, the movie was really entertaining for
the first half as it was intriguing and fast-paced.
Unfortunately it gets a little too silly after that
and when one of the actors say "This is getting out of
hand" - it sure as hell is.
Now I'm all for gore and nudity but after the movie
hit the hour mark it gets ridiculous, it's simply too
much. Since there's so much gore, you kind of get
bored after a while. Also, the humour didn't work at
all, I laughed once, I didn't even get that it was
supposed to be a horror comedy until I looked it up
on IMDB. In the end, Zombie Strippers does live up to
its title though and surprises with its competently
written script. I still can't believe that this was
made by the same people who made The Slaughter. If
you're into boobs and gore, this is something that you
just can't miss out on. Perhaps a bit too tacky and
tasteless for my personal liking but I can see why a
lot of people love this flick so if you have high
expectations for this flick, I can almost guarantee
that you won't be disappointed.

You know there's just way too much to cover here.

I'm not a big fan of metal but it works for its intents
and purposes I guess.

Zombie Strippers does live up to its title but it's
certainly a rollercoaster since its got a lot of pros
and cons. Probably not for the mainstream crowd but
certainly a horror flick that zombie fans will eat
right up. It's certainly nice to see something that
we haven't seen before but did they have to go so
overboard with the whole concept?
